Our family 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited trail rated edition up for sale. FOR REPAIR this Jeep Cherokee needs a transmission. Went out into the driveway to start it up and go to work one morning last week....started it up to warm it up as always and it just wouldn't move at all when I went back in to leave. The strangest thing!! Right after we spent 800 on brand new tires of course literally 3 days before it went out see them in the pics. Road mechanic that services my business trucks says these models are known for bad trannys. I'm noticing after more research that definitely seems to be the case. Mechanic also says a $500 good low mile junk yard part and about a thousand to change it. Other than that it runs great never any mechanical issues. Surly not beat up on its my wife's car no accidents and the body is in good shape just paint dull. We got a brand new one so this one has to go. 4.7 L V8 with 121xxx miles typical for 10 year old vehicle. Its a bit dirty at the moment Ill head out to give it a good clean on a warmer day. I'm sure I forgot a lot so feel free to ask....Plus more pics if needed its right in our driveway! In case you only read the beginning and the end this Cherokee is FOR REPAIR
