Here we have up for sale a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a LS engine swap started. The Jeep was originally equipped with the 2.5 4 cylinder and a automatic transmission. It has 3.73 ratio axles. Now it has a 4.8 Chevy Vortec V8 out of a 2009 Chevy truck with approximately 50K miles. This engine is rated at 295 horsepower. The transmission is a automatic 4L60E from the same vehicle as the engine. the engine and transmission are completely mounted in the chassis using the weld-in motor mounts made by Novak Adapters ($212.00). The 4L60E is adapted to the original NP231 transfer case with the Novak adapter ($640.00) The exhaust headers are Novak ceramic coated ($452.00) Included is a custom made aluminum radiator with fan ($450.00). All the original wiring harnesses and computers are included. Other items include are : stainless exhaust kit, 8.8 Ford rear axle out of an Explorer (3.73 ratio),power steering pump and alternator with mounting bracket, throttle by wire gas pedal. The exterior of the Jeep is in pretty good shape as the jeep has been garage kept for most of its life, interior is in pretty good condition as well. I can deliver within a 100 mile radius of 60089.
