Its safe to assume that if you know all the safety and reliability advantages of these cars. So i'll get straight to details. There is a lot to say and for you to read, pelase take a second to read everything. Nothing below will disappoint you. This particular Outback sold to my shop after car has a transmission issue(which is replaced with low mile unit see below). Below you will find details of exactly what maintenance items have been done. However, in brief, when we got the car in it had a minor gasket leak. At that time a decision has been made to pull the trigger on FULL overhaul/rebuild of the block and heads. Typical head gasket leak common to these cars WILL NOT reoccur. MLS Subaru gaskets have been used during the repair and if future owner keeps up the the maintenance you are likely to get 200k without any major repairs. To repeat, listing mileage reflects current engine miles, body of the car has 149k. NO RUST. Transmission has 90k miles(will come with paperwork and donor vehicle info/vin number) It needs NOTHING. Engine Info: This was just about as throughout rebuild as it could possibly be where just about all components were replaced. Crankshaft pistons seals and dozens of other minor things have been replaced. Aside form the basics both the block surface and the heads have been resurfaced. A crucial detail that typically runs ~300$ extra(machine shop) for whoever is rebuilding the engine. No dealer ever does that to maximize profit. We went the extra mile to do above and beyond to make sure this engine lasts years and years. - NEW Timing belt and components, Valve Seals, Plugs, crankshaft(new original Subaru), Only Subaru gaskets and seals used. Transmission Info: Sourced from a reputable recycler with just over 90k miles. Easyli verifiable. Not a lot of people know, but US made Subarus have VIN number stamps on engine and trans. (excludes Japanese imprezas and foresters) Which basically means you can be 110% sure i am not jsut throwing random numbers or claims out at you :) -NEW Clutch, Fluid, Axle Seals, Drive Shaft Seal. From Catalitic converters to Oxugen Sensors(this car has 5) -ALL RECORDS AND RECEIPTS INCLUDED -Fresh Year old KYB Struts All around. -Southern car with absolutely no rust, just begs to be taken upstate! -Quality Michelin tires with just 10k miles -Clean Accident-Free Carfax . No tape lines , or sketchy body work. I am confident this vehicle is all original and has never been painted. -Windshield is cracked and will be replaced at NO COST once deposit is put down. Interior Condition: Overall Clean, no tears, small scratch on the dash, you will find small scuffs on shifter trim and door handles, nothing you wouldn't expect from a used car. Exterior Condition: As stated earlier, beautiful paint, however you will find scratches and dings. Its a used car. Please be realistic in terms of what you expect. I have gone above and beyond to present the car the best i can but i may miss something. DING on RR door has been quoted by a Painless Dent Wizard to be 70$ repair if you decide to ever get it done. Test Drive Policy: Car has no surprises waiting to jump out. If you are a car guy , you will appreciate the following, as no-one wants their car whored out to half the hobos in this city, for that reason there are absolutely no joy rides. Its safe to assume that if youre here you know all the advantages 2.5Turbo XT offers, from power to limited slip differential for the snow season, features that blow 2.5i out of the water in terms of competition. This particular Outback sold to my shop after a customer was unable to pay for the repair of original engine. Over 5k worth of work has been done to the car. Below you will find details of exactly what maintenance items have been done. However, to be brief, it shas a brand new engine with just over 1,129 miles. Transmission was replaced by the pervious owner at 120k and shifts fine. To repeat, listing milege reflects current engine miles, body of the car has 164k. It needs NOTHING.
