Listed in fair condition because of rust issues and overheating issues. Overheating issues- I am not a mechanic. If you drive it more than 15-20 miles, it will overheat. The radiator boils but the temp gauge doesn't go up into the red. If you let it cool off and refill the radiator, it will drove another 15-20 miles, then do the same thing. If you drive on the highway it will happen sooner. Guesses at what's wrong would be water pump or head gasket. I am selling as-is, and that's why it's at $600 obo. Not a reliable daily driver in it's current state unless you are driving just a few miles. The interior is clean for the age, cloth seats. Has power windows, am/fm cassette. Passed inspection a few months ago. Work recently done- new brake master cylinder, major tune-up with WASP Automotive in Durham, new radiator, new belts.

1995 Subaru Legacy that has been turned into a 24 hours of lemons race car. Car is prepped for racing lemons and comes with extra parts, wheels, etc... as seen in photos.Has a 2.5 liter engine installed and comes with extra 2.2 liter. Car is set-up to be towed on all 4 wheels with a tow bar, but would recommend trailering if towing it a long way at high speed. The tires on the steel wheels are pretty old and show some dry rot. This car has been in my family for 13 years and it was the car I learned how to drive in. My youngest sister crashed it 4 or 5 years ago, so me and two friends (all engineers) turned it into a lemons racer during our senior year in college. The car has a long history of Jewish ownership, hence the mock Ken block DC JEWS paint job and puns all over the car. We are all too busy to race anymore, so its time to sell! I hope that whoever buys it creates their own theme/paint job, but it is sold as you see it. It has been raced 3 times and put down great lap times in Kershaw, easily in the top 10. I still have the title (salvage) for the car, so if you want that I can have it notarized and signed over. $3000 obo.
