There are some paint defects from driving on gravel roads. There is no visible rust. This car has never lived farther North than North Carolina, so it hasn't been subjected to salt etc. you might get in the winters. There are no known mechanical defects. There was some recent work done and it is up to date on all maintenance. The tires have about 20,000 miles and have alot of life left. The front end was realigned not too long ago. The battery is just over 1 yr old and has a lot of life left. I had a lot of work done less than 10k miles ago. I changed all fluids in the car including radiator, transmission, brake, steering, and differentials. Most importantly, I had the timing belt changed, which is generally a $1k procedure that needs to be done every 100-125k miles. This belt, as well as the serpentine belts, were changed <10k miles ago, so there's lots of life left. This car has been very reliable and has never let me down. This thing is really a fantastic car and I am only selling it to replace it with a faster Subaru of the same generation. It is stock with the exception of stereo installed. The stereo accepts USB drives, auxiliary in, and has iphone connectivity. It does not play CD's. The air conditioner works great. It includes a spare tire, jack, and vinyl trunk liner. It currently has just shy of 130k miles. Kelley Blue Book Value is over $5k The vehicle is available for pick up in Raleigh, North Carolina.
