Up for sale is a good looking, running, & driving 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Turbo 5 speed manual transmission with 144,250 miles. This has been my personal daily driver for the last ten years. I am selling this car as I wanted something bigger for my family. This car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and I think it will for you too! It will put enjoyment into any ride all the while getting 22 mpg. Yes, it’s a sleek, sporty, and fast car but parents will be happy with all the safety features including airbags and the all-wheel drive. No, its NEVER been to the track or raced. It’s been garage kept for the majority of its life. Several modifications have been made to the vehicle to correct the few flaws WRXs have. The original/stock WRX brakes were very spongy. With the drilled/slotted rotors, performance pads, and stainless steel brake lines the pedal feel is now firm and braking happens quicker – it’s safer this way. The original suspension was okay but the components were wearing and I figured I might as well make it better than stock when it was time for replacement. The adjustable coil overs give you changeable controls with a few clicks of the finger and the racing springs match nicely. The ride is now firm and provides excellent communication from the rest of the suspension. This is how it should have been done from the factory. The original Subaru speakers look like a paper bag and didn't sound much better. Now any kind of music sounds like you are right there. Even the radio when the free HD reception comes in feels more like a concert! I feel the system is perfectly balanced – not all bass but enough to feel your music and highs/mids to match! I couldn't find the receipt but the cost for just the stereo system alone was almost $5,000. While I was doing the audio I figured I might as well protect it. The CrimeStopper alarm system does just that and adds the remote start functionality. You can start the car from more than ¼ mile away, lock the doors, etc. I logged every single gas fill up (date, location, type of gas, gallons, and mileage) and all maintenance details in a logbook which will go with the vehicle. “If it’s worth owning its worth taking care of and I feel I’ve done just that.” You can see the first few pages of the logbook as well as some of the most recent maintenance in the photos above or video below.
