I have owned this car for a year now and only put 4,000 miles on it. I am the SECOND owner technically BUT it is REALLY a ONE OWNER car. If you check CARFAX you will see that this car was serviced RELIGIOUSLY, mostly at Manchester Subaru but a couple of service records at other Subaru dealers also, Bought new at Manchester Subaru in New Hampshire and I bought it when the original owner traded it in. It is a beauty which I hate to sell but I need the cash to finish paying off my son's student loans. That said I am NOT going to give it away either as these are very rare cars. The car has new brakes and tires (CHECK CARFAX for BRAKES) done at Manchester Subaru. There is NO SCHEDULED expensive maintainence to be done, timing belt, water pump, etc all done AGAIN all verifiable on CARFAX. There is MINIMAL interior wear and the seats are perfect. Up for sale is a 1999 Subaru Forester S AWD Automatic with AWP (Heated Seats, Mirrors and Windshield). This is a WELL maintained vehicle and has had the following RECENT work done: a) BOTH rear wheel bearings b) 4 Wheel Brake Job on 4/2/2015 c) NEW CATALYTIC Converter, O2 sensors and Knock Sensor d) Air, Fuel Filters and Plugs e) New Rear CV drive axles f) Firestone 710 tires less than 5000 miles on them The engine in this car is from a 2006 Forester. It had 26,000 miles on it when we installed it and it now has approximately 77,000 miles on it. The ORIGINAL engine suffered headgasket failure at 88,000 miles. The radiator was replaced at that time. The newer 2.5 Liter engines (2005 on) have a more robust headgasket so this problem should not recur. This car runs well and has PLENTY of life left in it. The body is RUST FREE but will need paint soon. It is passable for now but it is chipping. The interior is in very good shape.

If you have been thinking about bidding on this car here is your chance to get a BIG bargain as I bought another car on October 11th. This is ONE of the ORIGINAL 100 Subaru SVX's produced (#62) to be exact produced in July 1991 for the 1992 model year. NOTE THAT E-BAY IS REPORTING THE TITLE AS REBUILT, I HAVE A CLEAR/CLEAN CT TITLE IN HAND The ABS fuse is pulled (ABS LIGHT ON) as there is a $25 relay I haven't got around to replacing. It does NOT affect the braking function or safety in any way. Other than that EVERYTHING works including the keyfob. Fans of the SVX know that particularly in the early models there were issues of wheel bearing and transmission failures. I can assure you that those issues do NOT exist with this car. The transmission shifts strongly and perfectly. Between myself and the previous owner here is what has been done LESS than 5000 MILES AGO: a) TIRES-- 4 new MASTERCRAFT with 4 wheel alignment b) FRONT BRAKE PADS-- SATISFACTION BRAKE CERAMIC c) NEW WHEEL BEARINGS--REAR d) NEW A/C BLOCK and TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT e) BG Transmission Flush, Fill, Filter change using BG Premium Synthetic transmission fluid. There are NO engine warning lights on the dash. The car does NOT leak any fluids. This car handles like it is on rails. As I mentioned earlier, the only defects in this car are cosmetic and are related to mild hail damage to the hood, roof and fender tops but not the trunk. I have covered the roof and trunk to match with a DIYvinyl wrap and it does look better but if done professionally would look great. The paint is in overall very good condition. I am pricing the car without reserve and taking into account the cosmetic issues. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to use my new smartphone to do so. INTERIOR SHOWS VERY MINOR WEAR, NO TEARS IN FRONT SEATS.
