2003 PSM WRX Sedan 114k and counting, 100% Stock, asking for 9k OBO. Purchased it at about 87k in 2012- it's a daily but only for 10-15 miles a day at this point along with some highway runs to keep it clean inside. Engine runs strong and smooth and has only gotten better under my care, regular oil changes, new spark plugs, timing belt etc has made a marked difference. Car received a replacement transmission, clutch and flywheel just prior to my purchase, I was told the replacement unit had some 40-50ks on it but can't verify. Both clutch and shifter work smooth as butter since I drained transmission and replaced with Redline shortly after my purchase. No slips, stutters etc. I had a Subaru dealer in Dallas do a pre-puchase inspection and still have the document, they found nothing wrong with the car and the tech I spoke to gave it an 8/10 at the time mechanically, 7.5/10 cosmetically, I think I've improved on that.Four new Falken Ohtsu FP7000s 205/55R16 on the stock wheels installed September 24th, I will be driving on them but only 10-15 miles a day. Four-Wheel alignment was done at the same time.Car was then washed, waxed, vacuumed etc. I'll be keeping it as clean as possible but like I said it's a DD.Aside from a Subaru issued recall of the fuel rails which SOA paid for, I've done all the maintenance myself with help from NASIOC and official Subaru maintenance manuals. This is an exhaustive list and includes:__________________________________________________ ________________Oil Changes. every 3-5k with Mobile 1 and Subaru OEM Filters and crush washersAir Filter. Subaru OEM Installed at 110k.Transmission Fluid. Changed twice during my ownership, with Redline Shockproof lightweight. Most recently at 110ks.Power Steering Fluid. Changed at 113k with Dextron II-III compatible ATFRear Differential Fluid. Replaced around 110k.Coolant. Prestone Pre-Diluted Fluid. I know, I know it should have Subaru OEM.Timing Belt. Gates Timing belt kit was installed by me at 105k which included timing belt, all rollers, water pump and tensioner. Accessory Belts. Replaced at 105k along with the timing belt.CV Axle Shafts. Replaced at 113k with re manufactured Cardone unitsLH Tie Rod End. Replaced at 113k with MOOG Tie Rod End. OEM boot had a rip.Valve Cover Gaskets. Both L and R sides done at 105K with OEM gaskets and FujiBond. Power Steering Clamps and Suction Hose. Replaced at 113k with screw-type clamps and a new suction hose from reservoir due to cracks in old hose. Spark Plugs. Replaced at 113k with OEM NGKs. Compression Test done by me on 10/09/2014 came out as 165/160/160/160! Great compression readings!__________________________________________________ _________________The Not So Bad.Front Bumper is an issue. It's structurally sound and can be repaired but it needs a respray. I can take detailed pics but the paint is spidered in the top middle section and a 2-3 inch section of paint has recently fallen off dead center, you can see in pics. The outer bottom edges are rough and the bottom have been ground pretty well by rocks. Not going to lie, looks like it served it's purpose and did some parking lot bumping but no cracks or breaks in the actual bumper. New bumper is about $200 shipped OEM plus cost of a paint job.One foglight has a crack from a highway stone, still operates fine. Spoiler was professionally repainted around 100k and I repaired the PO's FUBAR wiring job of the wing brake light.Interior is 8/10 IMO, steering wheel leather is fairly worn on left side where most driving takes place and the sun hits it, driver's seat left bottom bolstering is going out from butt slide and a small hole in bottom of front passenger seat. Has the auto-dimming rearview mirror which no longer dims because I pulled the glass when it started leaking the fluid inside, it's just a regular mirror with compass now.Car came to me with NO trunk carpet, pad, etc. Just bare metal and the spare. After months of trying to get someone from a car part out to ship me the carpet and cover, I improvised and pulled the rear interior of a 2001 Forester and cut the styrofoam bottom to fit. Works pretty well, looks muuuch better than metal and gives you lots of more hiding places in the boot. Also comes with the Forester/Impreza wagon rubber trunk mat which mostly fits. And the biggest "problem", the drivers rear quarter panel. Late 2012 a woman in a minivan slowly backed into me in the parking lot of my daughter's school and crunched the panel pretty good. Her insurance found her at fault and paid for 100% of repairs which included fixing the original panel and paint. The local Subaru dealer referred me to their regular shop which elected to paint from the driver's rear door back and did a great job. 6 months later another dingus dented the Q panel and left the scene, it's about the half the size of a playing card and has a single hairline paint crack that has had been repainted and clear coated over. Various other small dents, small paint damage spots which are patched with touch up etc. Wish Subaru had used thicker paint... No rust, Texas and Arkansas car it's whole life.Car comes with a Yakima Q-Tower roof rack and two Yakima fork mount bike trays, one key with remote entry, all manuals and original documentation.
