This is my personal Baja that I have owned for almost two years. I purchased it from the original owner with 240000 miles on her. Despite the high milage, this Baja runs great. There are no issues and everything works as it should. Stock Subaru radio has been replaced with a Blaupunkt receiver with Bluetooth and iPhone controls. Tires and brakes are good, no check engine light, NYS safety and emissions tests were all passed two years in a row, transmission shifts smoothly, engine runs smooth, uses about 1 quart of oil every 1500 to 2000 miles. Oil changed every 3000 miles. Also changed rear drive shaft about 4 months ago. Baja is very versatile and allowed me to renovate a cottage in RI, as I needed her for trips to the lumber yard and Ikea. My wife wants a Transit Connect for her business, so despite my misgivings, the Baja needs to be sold. I have taken this car on many, many road trips and she has never let me down. This Item is relisted because some idiot decided to waste my time and yours. PLEASE, ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!!!!!!! Up for sale is a nice 03 Subaru Baja. Mechanically excellent condition, body is in good condition.Car came originally from VA. Has no rust! I hate to part with it , but I needed a bigger vehicle. A used engine with about 95k mile was just installed, along with a new clutch. The tires are almost new, and both headlight assemblies were just replaced. The front Cat. Converter was replaced about a year ago to pass inspection. The only things wrong with it --- I had a new one piece driveshaft built and installed and it vibrated slightly at 50 mph. Don't know why. It didn't bother me, but I am disclosing everything I know about it. I will include the old 2 piece driveshaft that needs a ujoint (welded in) if you want it. Also, the Air Conditioning does not work, probably needs recharging. It has a trailer hitch w/ 2 inch ball and 4 pin wiring, a custom tonneau cover, and a cargo carrier. Also included are 4 mostly worn out studded snow tires on subaru aluminum rims. Payment will be a $500 down payment via Paypal,with is NONREFUNDABLE, and then within 10 days the balance by Cash (prefered), or a certified bank check.
