Very nice all original 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk nearly completely restored and is rust free having sat in garage for last 20 years. Engine runs smooth has been rebuilt and hardly driven since rebuild and I have receipts. The Silver Hawks were just one of few cars from this era that were aero dynamically designed for fuel economy and had a estimated 20 mpg off the lot. Painted red with minor touch up needed and trim and emblems needing to be put back on and windshields put back in. Many new parts in box and extra parts. Asking $8500 or best offer due to work still needing to be done. 1960 STUDEBAKER HAWK THIS A ONE OWNER CAR - ORIGINALLY ORDERED FROM SIMONSON MOTORS IN BENSON, MINNESOTA (STUDEBAKER AND OLIVER TRACTOR DEALER) THIS CAR WAS RESTORED IN THE 1980s AND IS STILL IN NICE DRIVING CONDITION. NOT CONSIDERED 'SHOW CONDITION', BUT NICE DRIVER. THIS CAR WAS ORIGINALLY 'WILLIAMSBURG GREEN' AND WAS REPAINTED THE SAME. IT HAS SCRATCHES, SCRAPES, CHIPS ETC FROM MANY YEARS OF USE SINCE THEN. A BUFF, POLISH, WAX AND SOME TOUCH UP PAINT COULD MAKE IT VERY NICE. IT HAS REPLACEMENT FIBERGLASS FENDERS AND THE FLOOR PAN WAS PATCHED OVER. THE LOWER DRIVER FENDER GOT LOOSE AT SOME POINT, CAUSING THE DOOR AND FENDER TO BIND, CREATING A SCRAPE THERE - SEE THE CLOSEUP OF THE THAT AREA. THE INTERIOR WAS REDONE FROM HEADLINER TO CARPET. IT IS ALL STILL IN GREAT CONDITION. EXCEPT THE CARPET IS A BIT FADED. SOME EDGES OF THE DOOR PANELS HAVE BEEN 'GLUED' TO THE DOOR IN SOME PLACES. ALL THE GLASS IS INTACT AND IN GREAT CONDITION. (THE DRIVER DOOR WINDOW NEEDS HELP WHEN GOING UP AND DOWN) THE CHROME IS NICE ON THIS CAR WITH ONLY MINOR PITTING IN A COUPLE AREAS - LOWER OUTER GRILLE SURROUNDS, TAILFIN ENDS. BUMPERS ARE STRAIGHT, SHINY AND IN GREAT CONDITION. (MINOR BLEMISHES ON LOWER REAR BUMPER TO THE RIGHT OF LICENSE) THE TRUNK FLOOR IS SOLID AND APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL. THE TIRES ARE COKER CLASSICS PURCHASED IN THE 1980s AND ARE IN GOOD CONDITION - HOWEVER, BIAS PLY TIRES OF THIS AGE SHOULD PROBABLY BE REPLACED IF YOU PLAN ON HIGHWAY DRIVING. ORIGINAL 'SWEEPSTAKES' 289 V8 WAS REBUILT AT THE TIME OF RESTORATION. STARTS RIGHT UP. RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD. THE IDLE IS A BIT HIGH, BUT IT HASNT BEEN USED MUCH IN THE LAST FEW YEARS SO IT PROBABLY NEEDS TO BE TUNED (TIMING, CARB TWEAKING OR REBUILD.) BELIEVED TO BE 139K MILES. HAS AN EXHAUST LEAK AT THE LH MANIFOLD DONUT SEAL. THIS CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH THE 3 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND OVERDRIVE. WHICH IS GREAT FOR KEEPING UP WITH TODAY'S TRAFFIC. (SHIFTER IS 'ON THE TREE') PLEASE SEE MANY MORE LARGE FORMAT PICTURES BY CLICKING HERE BUYER WILL NEED TO COME GET IT (IT IS IN MID MINNESOTA 56379) OR YOU WILL NEED TO HIRE A HAULER. COST OF SHIPPING DEPENDS ON YOUR LOCATION AND SHIPPER YOU CHOOSE, SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN BIDDING. (CALL AND GET SOME ESTIMATES BEFORE YOU BID!!) BUYER HAS 30 DAYS TO PICKUP CAR. AFTER WHICH, I CHARGE 100.00 PER MONTH STORAGE FEE. 500.00 DEPOSIT MADE BY PAYPAL REQUIRED WITHIN 24HRS OF AUCTIONS END. THE REST TO BE PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS. I don't know much about Studebakers. This car was with a few others I bought. Its been sitting for years. The frame looks to be very solid. It needs floors, rockers, trunk pans, gas tank. I do not have a title for it. I turned the motor a little by hand. The rear tires pumped up. I was told that it was a 58, but a Studebaker guy said it was a 59. It can sit here on my property up to 35 days for free after it is paid for in full. After 35 days will be a fee of $5 per day. Thanks and happy bidding. You can call or text me with questions at 8595852659. make me a reasonable offer to end the listing. I will only end it early if a deposit is made through paypal. I really don't know what its worth.

Beautiful rare one year 1956 Studebaker Sky Hawk. This car was originally purchased in Los Angeles, Ca and spent the next 3 decades in the careful care of its first owner. It was then selected to be in the Art Astor museum in Orange County, Ca for the next several years. Art repainted the car in its original color scheme but aside from that the car is completely original. Beautiful interior. Beautiful chrome. I purchased the car from Art and its been part of my museum collection ever since. Included with the car is the original purchase contract from 1956 as shown in the photos. Its a spectacular car. I simply have changed my interests to specifically European cars. Please email with questions or requests!

Up for bid today is an absolutely beautiful 1962 Studebaker Hawk GT. It's equipped with its original 289 Studebaker motor, 4 Speed Transmission, Power Steering, Full Instrumentation, Trunk Mounted Antenna, Radio and Heater. The car spent most of its like in California, so it's rust-free. The chrome and trim are in excellent condition. Interior is exceptional, and the headliner is perfect. It rides on newer Michelin Radials. Car does not leak or burn any fluids, and is a real pleasure to drive. Get lots of attention too. Very fast, smooth, with no rattles or noises. Brakes are new and the clutch is in excellent condition. The tachometer has a wiring problem, but I do not know anyone here that has the expertise to work on it. The radio is also non-op, but it is missing a speaker. I don't know if that's the problem or not. Electrical all works as it should. The underneath is outstanding, not an ounce of rust anywhere. Floors are perfect. Give me a call with any questions you may have - Dave at 702-292-1201. I DO NOT NEED HELP SELLING MY CAR! All funds must clear before the car will be released. I will be happy to help with shipping any way I can. Overseas buyers welcome. Inspections are always welcome and encouraged. But, please be sure to have them done before the end of the auction. Also, please check with the spouse, cat, dog, hamster, billy goat or whatever before bidding! Thanks for looking! Note: This is being relisted under my wife's Ebay account. She has free listings this month. (Saves me $50!).

The beautiful Light Gold metallic paint and contrasting white top is in great condition with no major imperfections to be found. Inside, the tan cloth and vinyl seats all look presentably original with normal wear visible including the door panels and dashboard that are matched to the exterior of the car and look fantastic. It also should be noted that this car came with a roll of NOS carpet (which is impossible to find), and has been installed to the high standards of the original. The Studebaker Golden Hawk is a two-door pillar less hardtop coupe type car produced by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend between 1956 and 1958. The raised hood and grille were added to allow space for a 289 cid (4.7 L) V8 with the addition of a McCulloch Supercharger giving the car 275 hp. This improved the car’s top speed, making these the best-performing of the Hawks. This powerful engine in such a light car gave the Golden Hawk a phenomenal power to weight ratio (and performance) for the time. Of 1956 American production cars SPEED AGE magazine tested the Golden Hawk against the Chrysler 300 B, Ford Thunderbird, and Chevrolet Corvette finding that the Golden Hawk could out-perform the others comfortably in both 0-60 mph acceleration and quarter mile times. These well build cars also featured smooth automatic transmissions and “Twin Traction”, (Studebakers version of Posi-traction) rear differentials! From the factory, a fiberglass overlay on the hood was added, which covered a hole in the hood that was needed to clear the supercharger that is mounted high on the front of the engine. The tailfins, now made of metal, were concave and swept out from the sides of the car. The fins were outlined in chrome trim and normally were painted a contrasting color, white on this example. For 1958, the Golden Hawk switched to 14-inch wheels instead of 15-inch wheels, making the car ride a little lower. Other styling changes included a new round Hawk medallion mounted in the lower center of the grille, and the available contrasting-color paint was now applied to both the roof and tailfins. One unique feature was a vacuum gauge on the instrument panel. Padded dash boards were standard. Several minor engineering changes were made for ’58, including revisions to the suspension and driveshaft that finally allowed designers to create a three-passenger rear seat. Earlier models had seating for only two passengers in the rear because the high driveshaft “hump” which necessitated dividing the seat; a fixed arm rest (later made removable because of customer requests) was placed between the rear passengers in earlier models. This is your chance to own 1 of only 800 1958 Golden Hawks produced with far fewer existing today, your neighbors will envy you as well as everyone that lays their eyes on this masterpiece. This is a fine example of the “First American family-size sports car”, ideal for any car lover or a rare addition for any collection.. Up for sale is my beautiful 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk. This Hawk was restored approximately 9 years ago, five years before I bought it. Restoration wasn’t up to my standards so I improved upon it by adding all new chrome, engine dress-up and mechanical work. The car has had minimal use on weekends and to car shows. I was told it was a 45,000 mile car. The car has never been washed with water since I’ve owned it. I always detail and wax it, using no water to rust out the joints or to collect to rust other areas. It has never been in the rain. The paint is great with very few flaws, chips or scratches. All chrome has been redone. Stainless is in good shape with a few dents and scratches. All electric works, including defrost, wipers, lights and horn. Brakes are good for driving, stops good, but they are not power brakes. Steering is also manual. It handles nicely on freeway. It’s a little hard to park, but this is made easier with the suicide knob on steering wheel. All glass is good. Doors shut great. Engine is 259 cubic inch. Runs great; no smoke, tight compression; tested equal and at what it should be. Car goes along freeway at 60-70 mph with no problems. Handles nice. Transmission is 3-speed automatic. Works fine; no problems. About $1,000 spent on dressing up engine as shown in pictures. Pictures sum it up. Really nice interior, new auto meter gauges, except one, water temp which I have but no sending unit. It does have a gage which matches quite well and does work properly. Has electric tachometer. Windshield cleaner is missing bag, so it doesn’t work. Tires are nearly new. Exhaust is nearly new. Car is not concourse, but it is very, very nice. It gets lots of attention since it is on the rare side of autos. It has won several awards as shown in the picture and I am sure will win more. Please ask questions. If you live close, please come see it. Pictures do not do it justice. Thanks for considering this car. I am building a 1961 Hawk so I can’t keep both. Need money for that project. That was the first year for 4-speed transmission and bucket seats. Approximately $45,000 to build. $1,000 non-refundable down at auction end. Bank transfer within 10 days. Buyer pays all transportation. I will be here for pickup if notified.
