Studebaker's top-of-the-line pickup was the Transtar, whose main feature was its industry-leading cargo space. The Transtar's 51.5-inch wide pickup bed was available in both 6-1/2 foot and 8-foot lengths, giving it more cargo room than any other 1958 pickup. This truck has the 8 foot box. This is a model 3E7, only 976 were produced this year with a V-8 and ½ ton capacity. 6,504 trucks of all models were produced in 1958 by Studebaker. This is a rare truck. Equipped with a 259 2 BBL / 170 Horsepower Motor and 4 speed floor shifted manual transmission. Finished in the original paint, Apache Red (bottom) with Parchment White (top), with a black upholstered bench seat, chromed bumpers and window vents and new tubeless tires. This truck is a survivor from Arizona. It runs and drives just as it did in 1958. It does have a couple of minor rust issues, bottom front of both doors (see pictures) and a small spot at the driver's side front fender edge near the door. This truck is solid otherwise. We have had the truck for about four years, in that time it has been garage kept and pampered. The mileage listed cannot be verified as original.Local pickup ok. Shipping at buyer's expense and buyer to find/select shipper. Payment via verified funds.

1953 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe. 75,090 miles on odometer and clear PA title in my name. 6 cylinder,3 speed trans with overdrive. Not driven and shed / barn / garage stored since 1960. Needs total restoration. Solid car. Good floor, trunk, hood, trunk floor, doors and rockers. Will need some rust / rot repair on inner quarters and,of course, back end of front fenders. Also some small patches on rockers and around fuel filler neck in trunk. Interior upholstery will need totally redone but seat frames ,window and door trim are in good shape. Back of rear seat is missing. Steering wheel needs only minor crack repair. All stainless trim is very nice and bumpers are straight and free of dents and deep scratches. Pot metal trim is pitted but not horrible and can be repaired / rechromed. All mechanicals will need to be redone Windshield and rear window good. All flat glass is either fogged or cracked. I need the space more than I need the car at this point. Vehicle located in central PA approx. 2 1/2 hours from Harrisburg or Pittsburgh and 1/2 hour south of I80, Clearfield exit.

Up for auction is a very nice Studebaker Street Rod. This vehicle was built in the mid-eights and has been in several national magazines over the years. It currently has a 327 setup with 3 deuces and automatic transmission, Corvair front end with disc brakes up front and rear drum, duel exhaust, and lots more. The interior is in great shape and all gauges function well. The body has a few flaws which can be seen in the pictures. All chrome is great, tires also are very good. There is so much done to this car it would take a book to list all the items. I recommend that you come and inspect it yourself or send a representative to check it out, you won't be disappointed. If you want to be noticed and have something different this is the car for you. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. I can be contacted by phone at 570-460-8395 EST or thru eBay message. Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. If you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me by phone first or your bid will be canceled. I will accept as payment bank check, bank wire transfer, personal check or cash in person. If you're looking for iconic, here it is - the bullet-nose Studebaker! This is a 1951 Champion Regal Deluxe convertible that is an instant hit wherever it goes. If you want to get noticed, this is the car you want! This car has the automatic transmission which is rare. The paint is in outstanding condition with just a few chips. The car was repainted approximately eight years ago. The chrome and stainless exterior trim are in excellent condition. The car starts well, idles smoothly and has good power for a six cylinder. Lights and turn signals function properly and the brakes work properly. The convertible top material is in excellent condition and was likely replaced at some point. The seat upholstery is in great condition and was redone prior to my ownership. The AM radio even works! The tires are at least eight years old but have plenty of tread. Included with the car is a high quality dust cover, owners manual and some repair receipts from the previous owner. There is a crack in the right headlight chrome trim, however two good used trims are included with the car that can be re-chromed and installed. The power top mechanisms were replaced with hydraulic rams by the previous owner. The top seems to work a little slow but I have nothing to compare it to. Aside from routine maintenance, the only things the car has needed during my ownership are a new stoplight switch and new battery. This car will be conveyed to the new owner on a clear Pennsylvania title. The vehicle is being sold AS IS - WHERE IS. There are no warranties expressed or implied. You are welcome and encouraged to inspect the vehicle or retain a third party inspector, however, the inspection must take place prior to the close of auction or Buy-it-Now. Under no circumstances will the vehicle be released until full payment has cleared the seller's financial institution. Seller reserves the right to end this auction at any time as the vehicle is listed for sale elsewhere.

Do you like fins? It's heartbreaking to have to sell my first car. My dad bought this car in 1961 and sold it to me when I turned 16 in 1968. I have a lot of fond memories of the fun I've had with my girlfriend (who's been my wife since 1973)! But we're downsizing now, and so we would like to see it go to a good home, get some TLC, and get driven to car shows and cruise nights. This is a 2-door coupe (58H-C3 body) with an automatic transmission and Twin Traction rear. The car suffered some bad rust in the quarter panels and rocker panels, so I had all that repaired in 1978 (the shop cut out the rust and welded in aluminum - advanced for its day). The car was originally brown and pink (!) but as a young man I wanted something more contemporary, so I had it repainted in the popular Golden Hawk color scheme of gold with white in the fins and on the wheels. The extra feature of white with a black stripe on the hood was suggested by my dad. Most of the chrome is good, some has been redone. The engine is the original Studebaker 289 V8 (the same engine as the Golden Hawk); it starts every time and the dual exhaust sounds really great. The car is drivable but it could use some mechanical work. The starter always works but it is worn. The transmission shifts slowly when cold and often buzzes in reverse. The engine does burn some oil (a common Studebaker trait). There is some surface rust on the frame. The interior was completely redone about 20 years ago in a tasteful tan and brown, using the original panels and design. The headliner, seats, carpet, and doors were all redone, and we had seat belts added and the front floor pans repaired. The car has Coker reproduction wide whitewall tires that have less than about 400 miles. I have some extra parts that can go with the car: service manuals, bumper, grille, wheels, supercharger (not complete). The car has been garaged for most of its 57 years, a member of the family for 54, and mine (ours) since 1968. I hope to pass it on to someone who can care for and enjoy it.

1963 Studebaker Avanti S/N #1887 -Powershift Automatic transmission - A.C. - Power Steering - A.M Radio - Twin Traction - 76 k miles - Numbers Matching - I have owned this car since 1999. Unfortunately moving to an Independent living facility forces sale. The car has won numerous trophies over the years. The car is solid and there is no rust in the hog troughs. It recently had a new oil pump and rear main seal done. It also has a new exhaust system. I have the original steel wheels and hubcaps that go with the car. It has all the owners manuals and shop manual along with all the service records and build sheet from Studebaker. At present the fuel gauge does not work and there is a small leak where the shift cable goes into the transmission, but only after it's parked for a few days. The Air conditioning needs a recharge. The car could use a restoration including new paint and some interior work. You could however show it or drive it as it is. Clear title. I can transfer the antique tag to a Pennsylvania buyer. Please E Mail with questions.
