1936 Studebaker Dictator Coupe. This is a very rare automobile. Very solid original condition. It has the original Dictator 6 cylinder engine. This car was repainted about 25 years ago. The interior is all there, with the exception of the door panels ( I have an original to copy the pattern), and the headliner. All of the headliner supports are present, and I don't believe anything is missing or not original on the car. The body and paint are excellent, solid, and "presentable" as is. I drove the car to shows about 10 years ago, and traveled hundreds of miles with it, without any problems. It was extremely reliable and trouble free. Unfortunately, the car has been just sitting in a dry garage for some years now, and I don't have the time to start it regularly, so it will probably need some going through before getting back on the road, fuel tank, carb., tires, (?) I managed to find an overdrive transmission, and OD cable and knob, as well as the optional fan shaped dash clock, and a right side tail light, although I think it looks better with one. (this car originally only came with one from the factory) I also have the running board rubber which I never installed. All of this will go with the car. This is an extremely rare car, and I have a hard time parting with it, as I know I will never find a better, more original 1936. They only made this model in 1936 and 1937, BUT, In my humble opinion, the '36 is a much more interesting, and harder to find car. 1936 has many things that are different and again, in my opinion, much nicer and a more to the original "pure" design of the car. Such as the opening front windshield, and opening rear "bat wing" window. There is also a chrome frame around the windows, which is not on the '37. This alone changes the whole look of the car. This was the last year that the hood opened from the sides, and the '36 grille is a work of art. Also, the '36 had no vent windows (last year), which gives the car a sleeker look. The one year only "fan" motif dashboard which was designed by Helen Dryden is really fantastic, and unique. I have some other original spares, and original literature which I will also include with the car. I want to make clear that this is NOT a restored car. I would say it is an amazingly solid and original car, that deserves to have everything done to bring it to show quality. The paint was excellent, and it will probably run fine when it has had a once over, but I would rather it is understood that this car will need to be restored, unless you just want a beautiful driver, then it would take very little. I forgot to mention that I had a new "correct" wiring harness installed, so that was done. I will be showing the car locally and reserve the right to end this auction at any time. It should be noted that Hyman has a 1937 President Coupe for sale for $140K, And these Coupes have shot way up in recent years. Unfortunately, so many were chopped up for hot rods, I would say this car is too complete, and is too rare and original for that. So if you want to make a hot rod, please don't buy this car. 1950 Studebaker Champion Bullet Nose. It has been in my family for many many years. Body is in great shape and undercarriage is completely solid. The car was painted one time in the 50's. the paint does have plenty of chips, but there is really no body damage to speak of. There are a few small spots of rust, which I tried to show in the pictures. At the very lower front or each fender well, and on the lower fenders there was some mud in each fender, probably there since the 50's, that caused a small area of rust on each fender. Trunk is solid, at the bottom of the spare tire well there is a few small spots of rust that I put tape over to keep any bugs or critters from having a way into the car. I put small patches of the same aluminum tape over any other factory holes around the car as well. I like the patina on it, it shines and it has not been waxed in probably 25 years. I used polishing compound on it to clean up the paint, but have not waxed it as I was going to touch up a few of the chips first. I removed the interior as it was original and intact but old. I of course will include all the door panels, etc. I put all of the handles and hardware right back on the car and nothing is missing, and the door panels are original and complete. The floors and frames are totally solid. I left the original burlap on the seats and put a temporary interior together just so I could drive and enjoy the car. It is actually not too bad and quite comfortable, but a new interior kit is in order. I found a kit online for about $600. The car has the 6cyl flathead and the manual transmission. All brake hardware has been replaced. It has new tires, and new exhaust. I am driving it and it drives very well. It is a beautiful car that can be enjoyed as is or be the basis for an easy restoration of a very classic Bulletnose Study with only 29,000 miles. I want the new owner to be happy with their purchase. Please ask any questions before bidding. You are welcome to come see and drive the car, and inspect anything you wish to on this car. Up for sale is my 1964 Studebaker Wagonair Daytona station wagon. It is powered by the infamous 259 V-8 power plant with automatic transmission. Car has had a complete tune-up, rebuilt starter, rebuilt carburetor as well as new brakes all around. Gas tank has been removed and cleaned out and put back in place. Car has only 74000 original miles. It has the retractable roof option as well as the ladder option on the rear tailgate. All glass is in good shape. I believe car was originally dark green as the lighter green color is starting to flake off. Appears someone previously did some amateurish body work that needs to be addressed. The front floor pans are in place temporarily and will need to be finished. The frame is in great shape. The bottoms of the doors are getting rusty but I have a full set of replacement doors in much better condition.

1921 Studebaker Big Six Seven Passenger Touring. This 1921 Studebaker big six touring is in original un-restored cosmetic condition. The car belonged to Earl Shelton, a Chicago based gangster in the 1920's. It was purchased in 1951 by a collector at his Estate Auction. It was placed up on jackstands and covered until 2008. The story was written up in Old Cars Weekly. It was discovered and purchased from the collector's widow and put back on the road. The Big Six engine has been re-babbited and re-built. It is not detailed and still wears whatever is left of it's original grey paint. The car runs strong. It has been stored for about 1 year now. Since the photos were taken new BF Goodrich 34x5 tires were installed on the rear. Lucas 33x4.5 tires (Old Dunlop Tread) were installed on the 2 spares and on the front. The top material is (aged) The leather upholstery is nice. The paint appears to be original. Running well, very fast car for the time, loads of pick-up, more so than any other car I've owned of this period, it's uncanny. Last driven May 10th 2015. Comes with notebook containing the history of the car and shop manual. 354 in³ (5.8-liter) Straight-6 engine that produces 65 bhp at 2000 rpm. Original sale price $2,150. In the 1920s, twelve of the fourteen Arizona counties issued Studebakers to their sheriffs, because of their reputation for power, reliability, and ability to withstand hard use and bad roads. In 1925, the company published a pamphlet about the Arizona sheriffs' Studebakers, and named their Big Six Sport Phaeton model the Sheriff. At the 1924 New York Auto Show, Studebaker featured a 1918 Big Six that had a verified odometer reading of over 500,000 miles (800,000 km), as a testament to the longevity and durability of Studebaker vehicles.
