I don't know much about Studebakers. This car was with a few others I bought. Its been sitting for years. The frame looks to be very solid. It needs floors, rockers, trunk pans, gas tank. I do not have a title for it. I turned the motor a little by hand. The rear tires pumped up. I was told that it was a 58, but a Studebaker guy said it was a 59. It can sit here on my property up to 35 days for free after it is paid for in full. After 35 days will be a fee of $5 per day. Thanks and happy bidding. You can call or text me with questions at 8595852659. make me a reasonable offer to end the listing. I will only end it early if a deposit is made through paypal. I really don't know what its worth.

i have for sale my 1949 studebaker 2r16a 1 1/2 ton truck. it has 30885 miles showing on the odometer, the engine runs good but could use some tuning, i put a new coil on it and 5 new plugs(one of the plug holes has been drilled and tapped with a larger plug) it probably could use cap and rotor and wires and fresh gas, i dont know how long it had been setting when i got it and have never put gas in it. I had it tagged and insured and drove it some on a few short trips around the house, it drives and brakes well, the clutch works good but it grinds in between shifts (probably needs fresh fluids) i bought it off a lady who inherited from her late fathers estate and he had done some restoration to it. the flatbed has all new treated lumber, its been converted to 12volt, it has a lot of new lights on it but they need wired up. the truck will need wired completely, the key works and it charges and thats all that is wired, it needs a start button put in, i start it by crossing over the solenoid. the truck has 6 new tires that still have the (injection stubs) on them. the truck has been painted at some point and looks decent but nowhere near what i would call quality. the floorboards are perfect, the rockers may have had some rust repair but it doesn't look like they were horrible. the seats have been recovered. all the glass is good with the exception of drivers door vent, it is cracked on the inside layer. and the gauge cluster glass is cracked. I currently have the stake sides off of the bed but it is included, is in original condition , the metal post are great, the wood is decent but some pieces are chipped , cracked etc. the only other thingi can think of is the radiator leaks, it may be repairable or may need replaced. if you have any questions feel free to ask or come look at it in person. Ive tried to list all that i can think of but may have missed somethingthanksbrett
