I am selling my 1963 Studebaker Lark 2 Dr. 170 6 cyl, 3 on the tree. Engine runs great, new carb, starter, fuel pump, dist, water pump, cap, rotor, wires, break light switch, new brass trans linkage bushings not rubber, new rear spring bushings, shocks front and rear, N.O.S. front turn signal lenses and have but not installed a set have very nice used reverse light lenses and motor mounts. the body is very straight and the only spot of rust that needs repair that I can find is on the drivers side floor where it meets the firewall, but not bad at all to repair. This car is driven almost daily and has clear title. I bought this to save from the crusher and to be a Father/ Son project but my dad has past and I have a hard time looking at it. not looking to make money just get what we have put into it and see that it goes to a good home and stays on the road. $3500.00. could possibly help with transportation for the cost of fuel if not to far and car paid for up front. Any questions call Dave @ 602-579-5716

If you are looking to build a Bullet Nose Studebaker, this car is the one. It's the very desirable, still talked about, radical design inspired by World War II fighter planes, the Starlight Coupe. The 4 piece. wrap-a-round back window and sloping body design made it the car that people said, "Didn't know if it was going forwards or backwards." The nose design was reminiscent of the jet fighter air intakes and has been popular with car enthusiasts forever. 1950 was Studebakers greatest sale year, ever. Extremely solid body and frame. Stored in a shed for almost 40 years in dry Arizona climate. Some parts had been removed and stored in the trunk, perhaps getting ready for a re-paint due to the sanding that had been done. Most parts have been re-installed and others have been acquired from parts cars to make this Starlight Coupe as complete as I can make it. I know the radio, rear-view mirror, glove box door emblem and the door panels are missing. The drivers door glass is cracked. All the rest of the glass is serviceable. I plan to include 2 more doors and one has a good glass. Sometime in it's life the transmission tunnel had been cut. There is another tunnel piece included. Critters helped destroy the 65 year old wiring and upholstery. Headliner is ripped out, but the bows are still attached. Engine turns over by hand, but no attempt has been made to start it due to the condition of wiring and fuel lines. It's condition is unknown. Transmission is a 3 speed manual with overdrive. Anyone that has built an old car will tell you that rust is the one factor that costs money to fix with no extra value in return. This car has very little rust. I have found 2 small spots. One on the passenger door, (2 more doors will be included) and one spot on the passenger front fender. The floors are very solid, as is the trunk. The doors open and close with no sag or drag, and latch just like new. Hood and trunk fit as well as any I have seen. The car shows no signs of ever being in an accident. Car rolls and steers for loading. I'm thinning my herd of Studebakers and this is the project that is most complete and will take the least amount of effort to complete. There is still a lot of work to do, but it's a solid, complete car to start with and will make a really desirable driver or show car. Bullet Nose Studebakers always have a crowd around them at the shows. They make really interesting customs and resto-rods too. With the patina this car has, it would qualify for the Rat Rod class also. Please contact me for more info or pictures of areas of concern. I welcome inspections prior to auction close. I advertise the item as well as I can, good and bad, and have a 100% positive feedback. I may be able to help with transportation in lower 48, within reason. I'm not fond of driving in snow. That's why I'm located in Phoenix, AZ. Will also help with loading for your carrier as needed. Car can be stored at my location for a month or two if needed, but must be paid for in full. I'll work with you as needed, again, within reason.

1962 Studebaker Champ Short Box Pick Up - 259ci V8 - Very Rare and Desirable!! Believed to be Original Service Truck For Lions Drag Strip!!! Here is a very unique and rare 1962 Studebaker Champ short box pickup. This truck is believed one of the original service trucks for the world famous Lions Drag Strip in Wilmington, CA. The track was very well known, open from 1955 to 1972. This is a rare truck as it was a limited production truck only built for 4 years and is one of only 7,000 built in '62. It is a nice blue plate California / Arizona truck with a super straight body. The truck is very nicely restored and was done a few years ago. It is very nicely equipped with the original 259ci V8, 4-speed manual trans and short box bed. This truck is very clean and all correct!! The truck is in what I would call it's original condition with just the right amount of patina. I do not have any documentation proving it was one of the actual service trucks for Lions drag strip. Everyone has different opinions. Some people from Southern California do remember seeing the truck at the track in the 60's and some people say it's a tribute truck. I just don't know or have proof. The truck its self points to being the real deal and the painted lettering is very old and has been on the truck for many decades. Also it has a very large 50 plus gallon fuel tank, which would make sense to have at a race track. Lastly the bed in the truck is not all beat up as it would for an all out work truck. It's loaded with the following equipment: 259ci V8Engine4-Speed Manual TransmissionShort Box BedVery Large Custom Fuel TankDual ExhaustThe List goes on and on............. This truck looks to have had one repaint decades ago and is showing its age but on the positive it has the patina look everyone is paying to have done. The chrome on the bumpers are original and have patina. The grille is original and in good shape. All the glass in excellent shape. The body is very straight. It is a very good looking truck. It has its original wheels and old vintage bias ply tires. The interior is in excellent condition with redone seats and door panels. The dash is very clean and has its correct steering wheel. The gauge cluster is original and all the gauges work. Mechanically, the engine runs very nicely and it is a pleasure to drive. The original 259ci engine runs great. All and all, this is a very unique and rare truck. That makes a great conversation piece. It is perfect to use, put in your collection or racing museum. If you have any additional questions please Call Jimmy at 608-215-8300 from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. PST with any questions you might have and I can help with shipping quotes and arrangements. I also welcome all International bidders! All inspections must be done before the auction ends on my cars!! The car is located in beautiful sunny Scottsdale, AZ. Good luck in the bidding!
