That's 299 less than the 1011 of the 2008 models that were eventually produced. When you do the same math for just the USA models (i.e., excluding Canadian models), there's approxamitely 500 fewer 2009 models than 2008's. With approximately a scant 500 cars produced for the USA, the 2009 model is actually twice as rare as a 2008 model.Shelby 09KR009 is now for sale by the original owner. This stunning example was purchased through Sanderson Ford in Phoenix, AZ but delivered to Shelby American in Las Vegas, NV. It was specially ordered per the owner's specifications, including taking delivery from Carrol Shelby himself. During the delivery process, Shelby autographed the glove box/airbag cover. As anyone who has gotten an autograph from Shelby knows, he charges a donation to his charity EVERY time, but also would give a certificate of authenticity, which I have. Signed just 3 years prior to his passing, the shaky hand of an old legend is shown in the autograph's script. There ain't no more like this.It is fully equipped with every single available option. Powered by the proven 5.4 Liter DOHC supercharged V8 producing 540hp with a 6-speed short-throw transmission, carbon composite hood (a nearly $20,000 part new), 20" Alcoa aluminum KR-specific wheels, and a 3.73 rear axle. Shaker 1000 6-disc CD w/Sirius and Aux Input stereo was the only other option available, which of course this car has.Both the Cobra logo and the KR-specific badging is found throughout the vehicle, including the grille, dash, fenders, steering wheel, seats and headrests, tail, and on the engine in several places.
