This is a '65 427 Cobra by Backdraft Racing, documented build, with a Roush Racing 427R small block, forged parts, hand built and documented 530HP 515lb-ft, 2,200 lbs. wet weight, full MDS electronics and electronic rev-limiter, Tremec 6-sp top-loader, sorted and fully adjustable suspension, including fr/rear camber and caster, steel brake lines, classic polished wood sport steering wheel, anodized side pipes that make wonderful sounds. Shipped from S. Africa and engine installed in 2006 with builder plate signed. ~3300 mi. Just replaced the tires due to age with Toyo R888 315x18/225/18 rear/front, and 18x11/18x9.5 f/r Hallibrand style light forged wheels with center mount spinner knock-offs. All front-exposed painted surfaces are plastic-coated. This is an exquisite show car with an extraordinary quality of build and beautifully finished thick clear coat black paint with painted silver stripes. Driven only locally around the neighborhood. Placed 3rd in regional car show (just drove it in, not even detailed). This car attracts terrific attention wherever it goes. Even when driven onto the lot of Italian exotics everyone precipitates to this irresistible beauty. This is the best sorted Cobra I have driven, and I have driven quite a few. I purchased the car from Ferrari of Scottsdale ~2y ago on trade for a Ferrari.
