People flock to this car and take pictures while cruising in town. An original Nevada Car, it is dry, solid and has garaged continuously since renovation. Renovation was professionally done about 5 years ago. The renovation included the interior of the car, and it looks great! New seats, door panels, carpet, top boot, etc. It has been done in its original hounds tooth pattern. This Impala has power windows, and the vent windows are also power! The power top was rebuilt with new pump, lines, cylinders and a black top. All the original stainless was re-polished and the bumpers re-chromed. The transmission was upgraded to a 350 turbo and shifts great. This Impala gets its aggressive stance from a full air ride suspension that was professionally installed. It has all high quality components from Air Ride Technologies, Viar, SMC, ect. The suspension was also newly installed 5 years ago. It is fully adjustable by the press of a button, and can be set at your desired ride height. All the suspension is bolt on. The car has Tublar upper and lower control arms, with poly bushings, etc. A wishbone setup was installed in the rear, which with the air ride, is a huge improvement over the off centered 3 link. The car rides and handles great! This car was fitted with a new set of chrome Torque Thrust II wheels, 18s in front and 20x10 in the rear, wrapped in new z-rated rubber. These wheels were installed when the renovation was completed 5 years ago. The braking system was also completely upgraded at that time. It has 4 wheel brakes, with slotted and drilled rotors, red calipers, stainless braided hoses and a power dual reservoir master cylinder. The car has a 605 close ratio power steering setup, which makes making turns a breeze! Much easier and nicer to drive than factory power steering. Hi all, I am selling my personal car (Audi A6) due to my need for a truck and the car is now not being driven. I will add I am very meticulous when it comes to vehicle cleanliness, garage kept almost every night its entire life and constantly up-kept. I worked hard for this car, it is by far the nicest Audi and car I have had the pleasure of owning. It was my daily driver for roughly a year and half. I have owned the car just over two years now. As stated I am in need of a truck so this car is currently sitting in a garage 100% of the time and I drive an old SUV daily for the time being. History- I purchased this car from an older lady and she had DFW Audi service records for everything done up to 74K miles. Before purchasing I called DFW Audi and asked them if this car had any unusual maintenance requests and they said it had been a great car. I was a diesel mechanic in my previous life for five years and maintained the car mostly myself since then. I do have a local import mechanic I had service the car a time or two and inspect. Full service records and paperwork come with this car so their are no unknowns from buying from a dealer. It was purchased off the show room floor from Audi originally and again when the 2nd owner purchased it, I was told. It is a beautiful car and does get compliments often. It has been an amazing vehicle for myself. Details: The car comes with the 3.2 V6 with FrontTrak front wheel drive mated to a 7 speed tip-tronic transmission. On the 7-speed tiptronic-- I did the research and never seen another 2006 A6 with the same transmission out there. Its rare, two Audi dealerships even told me they had never seen it w/ the Frontrak. One mechanic thought it probably had the CVT transmission but the other said its a tiptronic produced only in the south. This transmission, perfected by Audi, is the first application of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a high torque engine giving extreme smoothness with high performance. Interior is amaretto w/ all factory options including LED exterior door lights under, exterior mirror lights when door open, interior door panel, floor lights front and rear. Leather, power, lumbar, heated, sunroof, mirror, locks, windows, 6 disc CD changer, etc. A6 features more sophisticated technology. Most notable is the Multi Media Interface (MMI), which is a system controlling in-car entertainment, satellite navigation, climate control, car settings such as suspension configuration and optional electronic accessories through a central screen interface. This has the advantage of minimising the wealth of buttons normally found on a dashboard by replacing them with controls which operate multiple devices using the integrated display. Note- I do not have the navigation CD software loaded as I use my iphone for directions and didn't deem it necessary. Upgrades: (all within last two years) -20% lifetime window tint- protects interior, added privacy. -New O.E.M. Audi front headlight assemblies complete- driver headlight had wire short so replaced both. -All new Audi headlights, marker lights, driving lights -New battery -Oil just changed full synthetic as required by dealer -Full maintenance always done as Audi recommended -New wheels and tires.-Less than 10K miles on this set-up -19X8 Gunmetal TSW Nurburgring Wheels 5X112 -Dunlop Super Sport tires- 255/35 R19 (more of a summer tire) -New fuel pump relay (right after purchasing car) -New fuel filter -New oil filter NOTES: This car has never let me down, started every time. Extremely reliable and great cruiser down the road. Drives straight, everything works as it should. Handles amazing, shifts firm. There are no known issues at this point in time. I have a full book of all work done on car since new. I would trust this car to drive anywhere in the country and do it in style. Disclosure: Feb of 2011- I was with my fiance at a concert in downtown Kansas City and there was some homeless guys that threw a brick threw front window in car. I filed an insurance claim at the time, Audi replaced both chrome door trim and also glass on both doors. The only other damage was the scratch to the dash and in the center console, also the two scratches on the driver door that were touched up by Audi. Nothing was broke electronic wise, nothing was stolen. The scratches are only noticeable if your searching for them or If I point them out. Look closely at photos. Full Carfax/ Auto check is available to the new buyer. Also, full service records and transparency on all work done to the Audi.
