I ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle at about 15MPH in this car. It has no problems other than frame damage, but will need to be put on a stretching machine. Also, the front bumper got knocked in slightly and now impinges on the serpentine belt, so this wore off during the half mile or so I drove it after the accident. Other than that everything worked 100% except for the blower knob which I have the assembly and will include with the vehicle (was about to replace it when *CRASH*). Good motor and tranny, motor was rebuilt just before I got it and neither ever offered the slightest problem. Has been sitting for about six months which is why I'm putting it on here.

This vehicle has a blown motor. It was last started about a year ago. It did start but made severe banging noises. I'm sure the motor is trashed probably spun bearings or broken rods or something. I was going to put in a used motor because the body is in pretty good shape. The interior is pretty good too. It is automatic with air, power windows, door locks, and sunroof. It has good tires. This would be a good work car, or a good first car for a young person. You can get used motors from Japan direct with less than 50,000 miles drop shipped to your mechanic for about $1000. So legitimately, you could have about 2000 dollars in a good looking sporty, all wheel drive, dependable, fuel efficient vehicle that's going to last 150,000 or more additional miles. That's saying that you only get 200,000 miles out of the motor....it's not uncommon to get 300,000

RE-LISTING DUE TO NON-PAYING BUYER. This Mercury Sable wagon was my father's car and has been in the same family since new, and only has 67,000 original miles! Well maintained and all repair receipts are available. New battery. Newer tires have only 5,000 miles on them. Cold air conditioning. Roll up cargo cover. Garaged first half of it's life.
