For sale is my 1996 Impala SS. The car is in beautiful condition inside and out. I purchased this particular vehicle from its original owner. The car was located in Greenlawn, New York. The car was meticulously maintained and always garage kept. The vehicle has never been driven in the winter months through salt, sand, and or snow. The undercarriage and engine compartment are proof of that statement. The seats have no cracks or tears. No dents in the body panels. All glass minus the windshield is all factory installed glass. I have had some parts installed on the car and other things done as well which are as follows:-Eibach lowering springs. They bring the center of gravity a bit lower which help the handling substantially. -Bilstein shocks on all 4 corners. I read and researched a lot and made my decision based on my research. The bilstein a are the most expensive but worth every penny. The original decarbon shocks were still working but in my opion, they are junk!-New pads and rotors all around. New sway bar end links up front. New wheel bearings front and rear and rear axle seals as well. The car sat since 2009 and I just wanted to freshen them up a bit-I removed the mufflers and resonators and put in 2 stainless steel glass packs for some sound. It's not very loud but makes a nice rumble. I have the original exhaust parts just in case. -3C Fab rear upper/lower control arms made from cnc'd aluminum. If you are familiar with this body style, you will know the rear tires sit far forward on the wheel well. The lowers are extended 5/8 of an inch which corrects that issue (mostly cosmetic) and the uppers I went for the most expensive, fully adjustable to maintain correct opinion angle in the drive shaft. I also did all new urethane bushings. These bars also don't have the five of the cheap stamped steel oem bars. Helps the car handle much better. -Oil replaced with Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil and the rear end fluid was also done. -40% legal window tint. (Mass Law). Not dark at all. Just gives the vehicle a lil more attitude. The tires on this vehicle are from 2001. They are in excellent shape. This vehicle was never abused. I've had it on the lift and I've gone through it thoroughly. I have a folder from the original owner of all service records and slips from the dealer. I also have the tile in hand. I hate to sell but don't have time for it and I hate seeing it sit in my garage when someone could be enjoying it. I really need an other truck as well so trades also welcome.
