One of a kind Civic GX up for sale. If you have easy access to a CNG station, this is the ultimate commuter car. The weak link in this generation Civic was the CVT transmission. I have converted this car to a manual using OEM Honda parts and a transmission from the Civic HX. The Civic HX had longer gear ratios than the standard LX or EX Civics. After the conversion this car consistently achieves 45mpg and most of my daily commute is between 65 and 80mph. In addition to the transmission conversion, the rear brakes on this car have been converted to disk from drum. As you can see from the details below, this car has been well cared for and should need little maintenance for quite some time. A few people have asked, I'm selling the car because the price of CNG has gone up too far where I live to make the car economical compared to alternatives. CNG here is now competing with diesel and went up from $1.00/gge to $2.29/gge which is why I'm selling the car. If the price had not changed like that I would have driven this car forever. The cng tank expires in Aug-2016 which would give you enough time to decide if you want to replace it. No issues with the existing tank and it was inspected in 2013. Replacements can be had for under $2k. Honda produced the Civic GX in the early 2000's as a fleet vehicle and that's where this one started. It was used at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (Atlanta, GA) from 2002 until 2012. The previous owner purchased it at a government auction and put limited miles on it until 2014 when I purchased the vehicle with 68500 miles on it. Currently at 105982 and will continue to rise because I'm using this car for my daily. I have performed the following maintenance on the car since I've owned it:Low Pressure CNG filter change every 10kHigh Pressure CNG filter change at 70k and then again at 100k (30k interval)Timing belt and tensioner done at 70kCoolant replacement at 70kPS and A/C belts replaced at 70kOil change every 10k with Royal Purple 5w20. Up for sale is my 2006 Acura TSX. I bought this car from an Acura dealership in Atlanta in 2008 with 22000 miles in the odometer.
