I apologize for the earlier listing showing that it had a clear title......I want to make it clear that it has a SALVAGE TITLE!!! This was my project car and I drove it throughout my Army career and when I went to school. Up until the point when the shock mount on the driver side broke, forcing me to limp home. Otherwise the car is drivable and running. I need to sell soon, as I will be moving out of the state. This is one of 1600 cars built for N. America with the black/black option. Original paint code is Glanzschwarz (Gloss Black). Black leather seats. Equipped with 4 seat configuration with rear slide out drawer in the armrest. Seats will have to be restitched at the seams or recovered. Has the 3.6L engine with 6 throttle bodies (has intake plenum removed for now, still have it, engine still runs without it). 5 speed manual transmission that shifts good, no grinding. Aftermarket 18 inch wheels. All lights are functional, turn signals and hazards operate. Emission equipment has been deleted except catalytic converter...and still passed emissions testing in TX, where it was last registered. Moon roof works good but needs a switch panel installed. A/c does not work, will need compressor, refrigerant and belt. HVAC panel and trip computer in good working order. All gauges work as well as the dot matrix display. 18 gal fuel tank. Bosch battery (under rear pass side seat) in good shape, kept it on trickle charge regularly. Good carpet. Horns work, but airbag will have to be removed and horn ring replaced. Front control arms and ball joint have been replaced. Brakes have been replaced with ceramic pads, but discs have rust on them due to being parked for a long time. Still has the self leveling rear suspension system intact, levels out when loaded. Has spare rim, but no spare tire. Comes with lots of spare parts including new oil pan gasket, which needs to be installed. Located in Grants, NM. I'm asking $5000 but please make me a reasonable offer and let's make a deal. I hate to sell, but my current circumstances won't allow me to keep or transport it when I move out. Lots of 5 series out there, but when was the last time you've seen an E34 M5? This is the ONLY example in the Grants/Milan area, and possibly all of NM. Not as much resale value as the E30 M3 of the same year, but it's slowly catching up.
