I am selling my 2002 Black Honda Civic EX coupe. I recently moved into D.C. and no longer need a vehicle. -Interior is in great condition-AC and heat work great-Moonroof and other Civic EX features-Great gas mileage-VA safety inspection valid through May 2016 After buying it I put in $900 worth of repairs, including a new battery, major tune up, new spark plugs, ignition coils, PCV valves, Air filter, and valve cover gasket. I have the work order as well as a folder worth of maintenance records from the previous owner. -The car’s main issue is that the check engine light is consistently on. After extensive testing and replacing of the parts listed above, my mechanic brought in an electrician who confirmed the check engine light is on due to a glitch in the car’s computer. A new computer can be ordered from Honda, but since this is an older model of Civic they only make batches of the computers occasionally. It is possible to put your name on a waiting list with Honda and they will ship a new computer to you the next time they are manufactured. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with the engine, however since the check engine light is always on this car will not pass an emissions inspection. If you live in Fredericksburg or a county in VA where emissions inspections are not required, this isn’t too much of a problem. -There are some minor exterior scratches and scuffs in the paint job. The most noticeable is the scuff along the drivers sider under the passenger window and another scuff/slight dent in the wheel well. There are close up views included in the pictures. -The cigarette lighter, CD player, and remote control lock do not work. -The trunk can be a little tricky to close and keep shut. My mechanic replaced the trunk door actuator, but the real problem is that the trunk frame is a little bent. They corrected the problem as much as they could, but it sometimes takes a couple tries to keep the trunk closed. Overall the car is in great shape mechanically and should last for a long time. Hello and Thanks for looking at my Volvo. I know that I am going to regret selling this car. But I have started a TR6 project and need the garage space. This is a super straight rust free California Volvo GT. It has never been in an accident and has an extremely nice respray over its original paint. At the time of the paint job, the doors, hood, glass, trunk-lid and glass were removed. The factory stripes have been correctly reapplied. The bumpers, trim and moldings have been replaced or refinished. It has a new windshield and seal. The car currently has an early GT front spoiler installed which I prefer. I have the correct 1980 spoiler that will be included in the sale. The car looks fantastic and can be shown or enjoyed. Your choice. It has cold A/C and a nice period correct radio. It has a very nice, rebuilt GT instrument panel with LED lighting. Everything works as it should, Headlights, fog lights, heat, A/C, wipers, radio, turn signals, sunroof (no leaks), lighter, side lights, gauges, overdrive, etc. all operate properly. The car has a new from the manifold back exhaust system. And new front struts, strut mounts and alignment as well. It leave a small oil spot from time to time that I suspect is the oil pan gasket. The car starts easily and settles into a nice idle. It accelerates, steers, shifts, stops, sounds, smells just the way Volvo intended. It has a new water pump, timing belt, fuel filter and transmission service within the last 3000 miles. It is a pleasure to drive and could easily make it from coast to coast. The wheels shown in the pictures are new Lenso 17 x 7.5 mesh with new Pirelli 225/45/17 tires and are available for and extra $800. They have no clearance issues and look fantastic. Otherwise the car will be sold with the original Volvo Virgo wheels and decent stock sized tires. The interior is extremely nice with no cuts or tears. The dash has no cracks and the car has never been smoked in. The headliner and carpeting is perfect. The passenger door latch requires a little more effort than is standard and could use an adjustment. Additionally, the driver's window regulator has a vibration as the window goes up and down. It functions fine but I have a new regulator to be installed at some point. I have a lot of receipts going back to the original bill of sale from VIP Motorcars in Palm Springs California dated 9/27/80. As well as the original owners manual. These cars are getting very difficult to find. One in this condition is rare. Low miles, accident free, no rust, perfect paint, original unmodified. My asking price is very reasonable. Particularly for the miles and condition. Please ask all of questions that you may have prior to making an offer. Please feel free to personally inspect the car or have a third party do so. Up for sale is my 1982 Volvo 242 GLT. This is a very rare version with the normally aspirated motor. The car is accident and rust free with mostly original paint. The car is very reliable and starts every time first time. I have owned it almost 7 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I recently drove it on a 150 mile road trip with zero issues. It is 100% complete and in very good condition. All lights, turn signals, heater, wipers, stereo, windows, and sunroof work properly. The upholstery is in very nice condition except for some wear on the driver's seat. I have purchased a custom fit genuine sheepskin cover for it that is very comfortable. The car comes with a complete new manifold back exhaust system that the new owner can install. I can do it for an additional $100. The car starts, stops, shifts and steers as it is supposed to. The 4 speed with overdrive works perfectly. The carpets and headliner are perfect and the interior is very clean. There are no unusual smells and this car has not been smoked in. The car is riding on a set of period correct 14" Enkei wire mesh wheels and Toyo tires. I have the original wheels and tires available for a additional $400. All of the black window trim and lower body area has been repainted with the correct semi-gloss paint. The car is extremely solid but the original paint is a little tired. The car is very presentable as is or it would be a very easy repaint. This car needs nothing to be driven and enjoyed right now as I have been doing. I just added a 1980 242 GT show car to my fleet so this one needs to go. Simply not enough garage space. Please feel free to visit personally for a test drive or have a third party do an inspection.
