I'm got a handsome and rare Classic Limited edition of which only 1600 were produced. They numbered to commemorate the last 1,600 240's made. This one's numbered 273/1,600. This special package included the spical wheels, wood trimmed dash, painted mirror caps, painted headlight eyelids, and more. I'm a Volvo fan and own and run a small dealership that specializes in European cars and especially Volvo's. Everyone in my family has a Volvo...we're big fans! However, I can't keep this one because I simply do not have room to properly store it. I would rather see it go to a loving home that will enjoy it as much as I have. It's a absolutely rust-free vehicle that's spent 95% of it's life in Oklahoma. In Duluth, MN we get harsh winters and I don't want to leave this Volvo out in the snow all winter. I spent big money going through it to make sure it was mechanically top-notch. Tires are almost new, timing belt is new, head gasket is new (it had extraordinarily minor external seepage), new front brakes, overdrive relay and fuel pump relay (preventive maintenance), rear shocks, oil change, control arm and sway bar bushings, alignment, mass air flow sensor etc...Mechanically top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere! Cosmetically, it's not perfect. Like I said, NO RUST. Body was painted previously and it's not perfect or show quality. I'm assuming they repainted it due to being sun baked. There are no accident records on Autocheck and no signs of accidents anywhere. Still looks very presentable! Minor dings here and there from typical use. Interior is pretty clean. One minor crack in the dash in the typical spot. Driver's side carpet has a wear hole. Some of the electronics don't work such as a power mirror, highbeams, check engine light and SRS light don't illuminate, and the heated seats aren't very hot. Odometer works like it should. A/C is cold and was retrofitted to r134a. All the power windows work. Power locks work. All the lights work and are new. All the trim is present on the body! Comes with Volvo head rest covers. This car was obtained by my deceased brother when he was married.. to sell real estate to car club guys having trouble with local authorities with collector cars and parts storage. Himself a car nut, he would cruise the spots and find home buyer who wanted to relocate.He also had rentals and many business ventures. As nasty divorce ruin him and all his holdings. He hide this car and went into a nasty depression. Left homeless and penniless, mom rescued him with a cheap trailer home. He sat there and I got him a VA disability of 70%. When mom's sister died, she sold the house and purchase a big house for her and her sons, but I never moved in as I had my own place. My brother lost a leg and was bed ridden and never put the caddy back on the streets. I had it hauled 180 miles to Duluth to my service station for keys and get it running service. (Kids hide the keys and caused some other problems)The service station tuned it up with new parts and a new battery. Had a lock smith makes some keys and they drove it to my yard. The gas pedal is messed up and I can't get the trunk open.AS IS ....You pay here and you haul away.I will not deal with exporters and foreign buyers... as I do not speak another language and do not do paperwork. I have a hard time understanding many people who only speak englishVehicle is not mint. It is in fair condition and needs to be cherry-ed out. I will damn if I will give them the car.They took the keys and messed up the gas pedal. I had the car towed 180 miles to my service station for getting it running. So a tune up, new battery and etc. Keys made. I'm having trouble opening the trunk. Station had it open, but I can't open it. It is full of junk. You'll have to clean it out before it leaves here.57 Cabby deville came with a two four barrels set up and a big bore block V8 in a 6,300 pound car.This car was a daily rider...not a restored collector car.
