One of the very best drivers I have ever had. These mid 70's coupe devilles drive so incredibly nice its hard to believe. Its like everything came together in the universe just ever so perfectly from like 72 to 76 in the coupe deville era. This particular one is certainly no exception. I have owned about 10 of these in the last 15 years and I held onto this one the longest for no other reason than the way it drives. I go into depth about the prior owner history on the youtube video I made. Whats nice about this car is that I know all prior owners back till the day it was purchased new by a one Stanley Shultz of New Hartford NY. He accrued 87,000 miles on the car until it passed on to the next owner also in New Hartford NY and then onto me in 2003. I have put around 10,000 miles on the car over the course of the last 12 years. I've done nothing but routine maintenance on it to keep it running perfectly. New tires and shocks also recently add to the perfection of the ride quality. Its time for it to move onto someone else who will love and appreciate it the way I have all these years. The prior owner purchased this car new, and meticulously maintained it througout the years. It only has 71,000 original miles. I'm selling this Lincoln for a friend of mine. He gave me a call a few days ago and had me come take a look. I spent the good part of the afternoon looking it over... driving it, kicking the tires. And here's what I think. The car is very beautiful. For being the original black paint, it still looks gorgeous. There are some small flaws down below. It looks like the last owner had a bubble's (3) and just tried to fix himself. Wouldnt be hard or expensive to have them done right. You really wouldnt notice unless you were looking for them. The vinyl top is flawless. The interior is very nice. The leather has no issues, and is very comfortable. The carpet is a solid 8 out of 10. What really surprised me on this Town Car is EVERY option worked as it should. The A/C was just serviced last summer and blows ICE cold. The moonroof works perfect and no leaks. ALL power options working perfect. The tires look relatively new, with LOTS of miles left in them. It drives smooth as silk. It doesnt pull left or right, goes straight down the road. The brakes feel great, and shifts right on target. It was a pleasure to drive. I would not hesitate to drive this Lincoln anywhere. The rear bumper has some issues with rust on the rear drivers side. It's really the only thing that needs to be replaced. Its not necessary to replace it. It would be simply cosmetic. I spoke with Lincolnland.com and they had a couple for sale. is a very very nice 1979 Lincoln Town Car survivor. The prior owner purchased this car new, and meticulously maintained it througout the years. It only has 71,000 original miles. I'm selling this Lincoln for a friend of mine. He gave me a call a few days ago and had me come take a look. I spent the good part of the afternoon looking it over... driving it, kicking the tires. And here's what I think. The car is very beautiful. For being the original black paint, it still looks gorgeous. There are some small flaws down below. It looks like the last owner had a bubble's (3) and just tried to fix himself. Wouldnt be hard or expensive to have them done right. You really wouldnt notice unless you were looking for them. The vinyl top is flawless. The interior is very nice. The leather has no issues, and is very comfortable. The carpet is a solid 8 out of 10. What really surprised me on this Town Car is EVERY option worked as it should. The A/C was just serviced last summer and blows ICE cold. The moonroof works perfect and no leaks. ALL power options working perfect. The tires look relatively new, with LOTS of miles left in them. It drives smooth as silk. It doesnt pull left or right, goes straight down the road. The brakes feel great, and shifts right on target. It was a pleasure to drive. I would not hesitate to drive this Lincoln anywhere. The rear bumper has some issues with rust on the rear drivers side. It's really the only thing that needs to be replaced. Its not necessary to replace it. It would be simply cosmetic. I spoke with Lincolnland.com and they had a couple for sale.
