VIDEO SLIDESHOW OF ALL VEHICLE PICTURES: https://youtu.be/kEaHx-WoWvs HERE IS DESCRIPTION OF THE JAGUAR XF SERIES FROM THE MOTORTREND WEBSITE: The Jaguar XF serves as the automaker’s volume seller, since the current American lineup lacks an entry-level C-segment vehicle. Introduced in 2008, the XF replaced the S-Type and has since been a display of Jaguar’s new design language. The 2012 Jaguar XF improves on the striking sheetmetal with a number of updates — mostly up front — that mimic the flagship XJ sedan. The XF continues with three V-8 engine choices. The first is a 5.0-liter, naturally-aspirated mill rated at 385 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. The second and third offerings are both 5.0-liter, direct-injection, supercharged engines rated at 470 hp and 510 hp. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic that sends power to the rear wheels. The 2012 XF is offered in four trim levels from the base model to the high-performance XFR, which is fitted with the strongest engine choice and a number of hardware upgrades for improved handling. For customers who prefer luxury over speed, an XF Portfolio model offers a long list of optional leather, wood, and metal finishes that result in a personalized feel. Bodystyle: SedanEngines: 5.0L V-8, 5.0L supercharged V-8Transmission: Six-speed automaticModels: XF, XF Portfolio, XF Supercharged, XFR The Jaguar XJ receives a number of visual upgrades to improve an already striking exterior design. Most of the changes take place up front that now showcases new, slimmer headlight units that mimic the XJ flagship sedan. Curved bands of LED daytime running lamps have been added within the headlight housing. The aluminum hood has been revised and now includes a slight upward lip at the upper edge for better aerodynamics. Interior changes are minor and include a redesigned steering wheel. The 2012 Jaguar XF is a showcase of sharp lines and stylized headlights and taillights rarely used in Jaguars. For 2012, the front fascia receives a number of updates including new headlights, LED daytime running lamps, new lower air dams, a new hood that improves aerodynamics, and a grille that is slightly pushed back. Finally, LEDs complete all functions for the rear taillights and there are new wheel choices. The 2012 XF interior is both luxurious and high-tech and with a long list of standard features that include leather, dual climate control, navigation, keyless entry, and ambient lighting. A number of optional packages will add items such as a reverse parking camera, blind spot monitoring, intelligent high beam, a 1200-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and a heated steering wheel. For added personalization, the XF Portfolio offers a number of leather, wood, and metallic finishes. The Jaguar XF comes standard with a 5.0-liter V-8 ensuring plenty of power whenever it’s needed. The base model XF is powered by a naturally aspirated V-8 rated at 385 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. Next up is a direct-injection, supercharged model rated at 470 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. The range-topping XFR model is also supercharged but is tuned to put out 510 hp and 461 lb-ft. All engine choices are mated to a six-speed automatic that sends power to the rear wheels. The base XF and Portfolio are tuned for comfort, while the Supercharged and XFR models up the sport factor with active differentials and adaptive dynamics. The Jaguar XF is fitted with the automaker’s latest in safety technology. Standard safety items include front, side, and curtain airbags, an anti-whiplash system that moves the headrest forward, emergency brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, anti-lock brakes, dynamic stability control, and understeer control logic. Optional features include a blind spot monitor and adaptive cruise control. Good: We have replaced the distributor, air intake/fuel injection cleaning and tune-up, replaced part of the rear suspension, new clutch cable, brakes/tires 6 months ago. Also replaced rear seal & flex joint 3 years ago.No radio, no a/c (heat works fine though). Needs the driver's window set back on track, and a clutch. Runs strong and was my daily driver til I bought a new truck this week. It'll go another 50,000 miles with a new clutch.
