Up for sale is my 2012 Mazdaspeed3. I have owned this car for about 1.5 years and am only considering selling to purchase a truck. This has been one of the more exciting and fun to drive cars I have owned. Upon purchasing I changed all fluids, oil has been changed every 5,000 miles with Rotella T6 5w40 (yes diesel oil, but those who know these cars understand it is best, search around and it won't be difficult to find.) I have been meticulous with maintenance on this car as I am with every car I have owned. There are a few performance modifications, nothing extreme, just the most common bolt ons and enhancements to excel beyond certain shortcomings from the factory. - Catted CNT 3" downpipe - Corksport fuel pump internals - Corksport short ram intake and turbo inlet pipe - JBR engine and transmission mounts - Electric focus rear engine mount - Cobb Accessport V3 tuned This Mazdaspeed is loaded with every factory option with tech package: - 10 speaker Bose system with subwoofer - Nav system - Auto bi-xenon self leveling/pivoting HID headlights - Keyless entry and push button start - Blind spot monitoring system - Auto rainsensing wipers - LED taillights Overall this Speed3 is in excellent condition and is ready to be driven. No excessive wear on the interior, all seats are perfect. I would not hesitate to take this car anywhere and it has been extremely reliable for me. The only thing it will need in the next 10,000 miles are front brake pads. Rears have 7mm. Tires are Michelin pilot super sports replaced about 4 months ago. I am selling this car for my father. I have power of attorney for him and guardianship for my mother. I have the title in my possession, and would prefer to go to DMV with the buyer to get a title transfer. This car is in really good shape, the tires have less than 100 miles on them, and I had the tire store check out the brakes, alignment and suspension when I got the tires. The engine is super clean, and the battery is new. My parents are in their late 80's, so this car really was just driven to church on Sunday. There was a hailstorm that put a few dings on it, hood and roof, but you have to look closely to see them. Dad scuffed up the bumper a couple of times, so I repainted it with touchup paint. I shot it with a couple coats of clear, but its not quite as shiny as the rest of the car. The car has really nice metallic gold mist paint, and in direct sunlight it appears almost silver, and in lower light or in the shade it looks more bronzed. The attached pictures show how the color shades change in different lighting and at different angles. The interior is tan with brown trim, and the seats are an ivory or eggshell kind of golden beige. Any dark patches in the picture are just shading, the inside is really nice. My parents got the car from a dealership in Baird, Texas, and I will be happy to provide that information, but you could probably find that on one of the car background websites.
Second owner, bought in July 2011. Have taken excellent care of all regular maintenance. Fresh oil and all filters at 50K miles. All oil changes done every 4-5K with synthetic oil. Tires at about 40% of life remaining. Daughter drove to/from school and family utilized on longer trips for its great gas mileage. Would LOVE to keep, but daughter going off to university overseas. Honda makes a great car!
