This beautifully maintained, 5.0 Release Series XB has been loved and cared for from day one. This is my wife's car, who is on active duty, and she has definitely applied the "attention to detail" instilled during her service, into the "gold nugget". (As it is affectionately called) The wheels, are 18" ICW Racing wheels, look stellar and when paired with new (3k mi ago) z rated tires, suit the vehicle perfectly. The Kenstyle body mouldings, window tint, and "Gold Rush Mica" paint finish off the beautiful exterior. The only flaw with the exterior is some very minor curb rash on one of the wheels. (shown in a picture). The interior is equally pristine, tastefully accented with the same gold found on the exterior. All of the upholstery has been well cared for and is free of any rips, tears, or blemishes in general. The stereo is the upgraded factory option, a Pioneer head unit, but despite this we recently purchased a Double-Din In Dash DVD Player for the vehicle. This is still brand new in the box, and has yet to be installed, IT IS included with the vehicle if purchased at the already very fair asking price. Additionally, on the interior is the factory installed moonroof, and everything else that a buyer would come to expect as standard, ie: Power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise control, and steering wheel controls. Everything about and having to do with this vehicle has been loved and cared for since my wife drove it off the showroom floor in 2008. Everything in the Scion is in perfect working order, whether its under the hood, the drivetrain, or mechanics or electronics. And though it seems we put some extra miles on the car with every military leave, they are highway miles and no component is showing signs excess wear, and all maintenance as been performed. We have loved this XB from the start, and only want to sell it because we have saved enough for her to buy a new XB. This one has served us well, as it will the next owner. Thx for ur interest! Badged #733/2500. STANDARD EQUIPMENT: A peppy and responsive 2.4L Inline 4 cylinder powerplantthat produces nearly 160 HP, and over 160 foot pounds of torque. It does more than get the job done. Despite it's unique and purposefully distinct lack of rounded edges and tactful disregard for aerodynamics, the XB will still get an EPA rated 28 mpgon the highway. This number is pretty much spot on from what I experienced over the past 7 years, maybe even a hair on the conservative side, with the vast majority of my miles being driven on the highway,it was not uncommon at all to average better than 30 mpg on one of our frequent cross-country road trips. Your XB is equipped with the optional Automatic transmission, and upgraded with the Sequential Sport Shift, which can be a lot of fun when you really want to getinto the driving experience. This can also be adjusted on the fly, should the need arise to quickly return to the automatic transmission. Your new Scion also has 4 brand new Velozza ZX4 tires on it as of October 2015. Their grip,and ability to handle all types of adverse weather conditions, paired with the stability and handlingability of the XB's FWD and suspension, makes for a positively assured feeling of control while driving, and a smoothcomfortable ride for all of your passengers, who will undoubtedly be eagerly hoping for their chance behind the wheel. Kelly Bluebook would define this as fair condition. There are no major mechanical defects, but there are some scratches, dings and chips in the paint. Originally this was a salvaged title, but was rebuilt by a retired engineer from Firestone who rebuilt sports cars as a hobby. I just spend $800 on it's 90000 service check and the engine is in sound condition. Current Issues * Sunroof has a loose wire and is quirky * Accent lights have loose wires causing some of the LED lights to not work. The wiring harness will need to be looked at. * Some paint cracking around the air foil and the trunk * When going into reverse, you sometimes have to put it in first and pull up an inch or two * Not really an issue, but when it was rebuilt, a competition clutch was put in and it runs revs a bit higher than a standard tC, you'll need to put in synthetic oil. * Some very slight sag in the front bumper from were somebody bumped it in a parking Overall the car is still solid and very responsive. Hello, I've owned this car for 2 years and you couldn't ask for a better mechanically sound car. It's made by Toyota. The car does have a rebuilt title, but it was that way when I bought it.
