I bought this vehicle in 2000 form a salvage car dealer, City Line in NH. At that time it had 11,000 miles and for all intent and purpose it looked brand new inside and out... started right up and everything worked. Long story short, it has been my daily driver up until a few days ago. Other than brakes, exhaust and a couple of alternator rebuilds I have had no trouble with this car... totally dispelling the dark cloud that is salvage. I would continue to drive it but rust has taken out a few areas of the under carriage and it will not pass inspection unless I fix it. I have other vehicles so this is not a crisis for me and I do not have the time or interest in doing the work. This is all a bit unfortunate because the car is very strong. Always used full synthetic, it does not burn oil, one driver, clutch is still good. It could be a good vehicle for someone willing to repair the floor panels. Vintage 1960 93F Saab restoration project needs additional work but is close to being a daily driver. This is a Southern car and the windshield leaked and rusted the floor. All the suspension mounts are in very good condition. Floor was patched and welded but not a great job, car needs additional bodywork on the fenders and rear panel. The underside of the car was stripped clean and painted. This is a running driving Saab, the brakes were done including all new wheel cylinders, steel brake lines and rubber brake hoses and a NOS master cylinder. Clutch and transmission are fully functional, most of the electrical items work including the generator. The engine compartment was cleaned and painted. The interior and headline are all re done including door panels, carpets need a little finish work. The car has four new radial tires, the exhaust is all intact, and all the glass is good. The engine starts right up and you can drive the car and stop it. The car is very complete, most of the parts are installed on the car except for some exterior details such as the parking and tail lights. The fuel tank needs cleaning and repair of perforations in the top of the tank, new gas line to the front, replaced the electric fuel pump. Has a non original new temp gauge installed in the dash. I have included lots of pictures, look them over carefully and ask any questions before you bid. The car is being sold with a bill of sale only, no other paperwork is available. 1985 Saab 900 Turbo 1 owner, smoke free, low mileage Classic! Has not been on the road since 2009. Motor is strong and will start with a jump.
