I'm a long time Saab enthusiast, this is my second 9-3. I've taken very good care of this vehicle over the last 4 years. I'm selling it because my family is growing and unfortunately I need something bigger (Hopefully a rare 9-4x or 2011+ 9-5!). For sale is my 2010 Saab 9-3, Nocturne Blue Metallic with Parchment interior in great condition. I am the second owner of this vehicle, I purchased it in late 2012 with approximately 21,000 miles on it. All major (20k service intervals) service performed at Gerry Lane Saab in Baton Rouge, LA. I have adhered to all major maintenance recommendations including changing transmission fluid at each 20k service interval. Vehicle has always been run with recommended Mobile1 0W-40 long life motor oil. I have the engine oil life algorithm set to "Medium Service", which usually results in an oil change about every 9-10k miles. Options (See pictures, i have also included picture of original window sticker)- Comfort Package - Power Tilt/Slide Moonroof - Heated Front Seats - High Pressure Headlamp Washers - Express Close Front Windows/Moonroof - Autodimming Inside Rear View Mirror with Compass - Homelink Universal Garage Door Opener- Automatic Transmission- Premium Paint Color Additional notes:- Pirelli P7 Cinturato All Season tires, warrantied by manufacturer to 75,000 miles with approximately 25,000 miles use. Tires rotated every at every service.- Front brake pads and rotors changed less than 4,000 miles ago- Battery replaced in summer 2014- Easily beats listed EPA highway rating of 28 MPG, cruising at 70mph usually returns 34-36 MPG. Mechanical Issues:- Front Driver door lock button does not work. It was not working when I purchased the vehicle, and since I use the key fob I actually didn't notice it wasn't working until I'd had the car for over a month. Condition Issues:- The car is 6 years old. It looks like a well maintained 6 year old car. It has two door dings - on on the driver side door in the middle below the B Pillar, and one on the driver side rear quarter panel. For Sale - 2004 Saab 93 convertible, standard transmission. Car was wrecked in the front. It needs the frame straightened and a front bumper. Car runs good. Please look at pictures to see condition. This Saab was traded in at a local dealership and the A/C was not working. The dealership did not want nor know how to repair so I purchased it from them in order to fix the A/C and get the car in great shape for a new owner. I am a Saab enthusiast so I only look for Saabs to work on. The problem with the A/C was one of the radiator fans was not engaging not allowing the A/C compressor to kick on. I replaced the radiator fan with a new genuine Saab OEM Valeo radiator fan. I decided to also evacuate the A/C system using the necessary manifold gauges and vacuum pump. I added the necessary 680 grams of R134A to the A/C system. The system works as new. Below is the list of other maintenance that I did over the past month: New cabin air filter New engine air filter All new windshield wiper blades 3 new washer nozzles on the hood Rear decor strip for the window was peeling due to age; replaced with a new genuine Saab decor strip Added genuine Saab all weather floor mats Had another Key cut from Saab along with another Key Fob; I married it to the system; 2 sets of keys 4 brand new Kelly Charger GT tires installed Changed Oil with 0w40 Castrol Syntec and K&N oil filter Drained and filled transmission fluid; Mobil 1 3309 fluid was used as this is an Aisin Transmission Drained and filled coolant with GM Dexcool branded coolant that is used in this Saab model Changed the drive belt (serpentine belt) Changed all 4 spark plugs with NGK Iridium plugs Cleaned the throttle body Detailed the interior and exterior Used a clay bar on the outside and then waxed the car Here are the details of the car: 2 owners from California (first owner was Commercial/Disney Company per owner's manual; second owner was in California until they moved to New Orleans within the past year) 108,650 miles 5 speed automatic transmission I have done my best to show the imperfections with the scuff near the front wheel well, imperfections on back bumper, and the imperfection on the rear seat and the front seat. I have the Carfax along with original warranty work printout and original spec sheet from Saab. I have spent the last month going over each inch of this car and spending all my evenings and weekends doing the above work to it. Feel free to ask me any questions. Car missing engine and transmission. Can easily be bought and returned to usable condition. Has a/c compressor, power steering pump, turbo and all other parts in trunk. Engine was sent out to be rebuilt and disappeared with mechanic.
I purchased this car in 2012. It is a great car have not had any complaints. Due to the age of the car, I have changed a few things. Work that I have had done are as follows changed master cylinder, replaced hydr. clutch , brake line between clutch master cylinder and clutch slave, replaced whole a/c system, replaced upper ball joint, replaced 2 upper control arm bushing, replaced started. Will be sending along all receipts to the car as well as the 880 page official service manual by Bentley Publishers. The heater does not work, The hood has fading from the elements and its age, but the rest of the car of the exterior of the car is in excellent condition.
