1999 Saab 9-5 Cayenne Red, tan interior – looks great – runs great. 2.3L 4-cylinder turbo, automatic If you’re looking for a well-maintained, classic original Saab 9-5, this is a great example. History: I’m the original owner. This car was ordered from my Saab dealer for European Delivery – built to US specifications. Because I planned to own it long-term, I selected the option for the cloth interior, which wears much better than leather and still looks great. I took delivery at the factory in Trolhatten, Sweden, drove it in Europe for a couple of weeks, had it shipped by Saab from Antwerp, Belgium back to my local dealer under Saab's European Delivery/IDS program. Condition: This vehicle has high mileage, (including a lot of highway miles), but has been very well maintained. I’ve used Mobil-1 full synthetic oil & filters exclusively. It has newer top-of-the-line Michelin MXV4 all-season V-rated tires (7/32 tread, no uneven wear). A Bosch alternator, and battery were installed in July 2013. The turbocharger was rebuilt in 2014. The air conditioner components have all been replaced, and the A/C is fully functional. The interior cabin fan, heater valve, re-circulation door motor, and blend door have also been replaced. The System Information Display (SID) was replaced with a new factory unit (latest version), and works perfectly. The radio has been upgraded with the factory wiring harness accessory connected to a Motorola Bluetooth system for hands-free telephone capability through the radio speakers and built-in microphone. The engine has had the cylinder head machined, with a new head gasket and a valve job, and compression is good. The transmission and brake master cylinder have been replaced. The vehicle theft alarm battery has been replaced and is fully functional. Genuine Saab muffler, in great shape. The fuel pump and filter, all hoses, thermostat, and radiator have been replaced. New (Bosch) front brake rotors were installed in 2015. Little to no oil leakage – all seals replaced, no oil sludge in engine. PCV crankcase ventilation system upgraded to latest Saab-recommended modifications. All work has been done by EcoTech – this area’s top independent Saab repair shop, or a local Saab dealer. All emblems and badges are in great shape. Fabric seats, in great condition – no leather to crack, crease, or discolor. This vehicle has never been in a collision, but some time ago, debris fell off a tractor-trailer on the highway and hit the rear driver side door, which was replaced with a new Saab door (vs a used part, or door "skin"). The body shop (Schafer) did the work and blended the paint to match perfectly. There is also a scrape on one of the wheels from this incident, which was not replaced. Hello Everyone My car is in excellent condition. Drives and runs exceptionally well. Cold A/C, power sunroof,power seats and windows, power locks. This car has beautiful interior and is virtually flawless. No tears. One small area in the drives seat has some stitches missing. There is no gaping or tearing at all! Nice 2006 Saab 9-5 with just over 139k on odometer, fresh tune-up with new tires and new tinted windows has been well maintained. Does have hail damage and one door ding, but outside of that it is very nice. Adult driven with two owners, is a nice vehicle with lots of life left.
