Front end needs work. Good little car for someone wanting a project. Already put close to $2000 in it to get it running. Needs gone ASAP. Having a baby, need the money. There are still some minor issues to it, but the major stuff is all fixed. Got the car at the Clark county auto auction. Was going to be a project car for me, but now have a baby on the way. Since fixing the few things under the hood, drives well. Offered for sale is this Saab 2002 9-3 SE 4-door hatchback, 5-spd, no rust, excellent commuter car or great first car. Mostly highway miles (85-mile r/t commute), gets 29/30 mpg on the highway. Black leather interior in excellent shape; power seats, sunroof, windows all work seamlessly, as does climate control and audio system. No leaks, no quirks. New tires 12 months ago. Shifts smoothly, turbo spools up nicely. Did complete rear pads/rotors/calipers in past 5000 miles, valve cover gasket in past 10000. Dent on left rear door only body issue (aside from minor nicks consistent with age). Sirius satellite radio unit included with sale (antenna already in place).

Up for grab is a 2000 light green Saab 9-3 that passed emission/smog test! does have check engine light on which diagnostic code are: P1260(throttle body), P1251(throttle body), P1231(potentiometer sensor). Also Information Radio Clock Display is going out. It's missing Fog lights, turn signal isn't working. right back window is off track which needs to be put back on track. 2001 Saab 9-3 SE Turbo 4-Door Sedan w/ Hatchback Black ExteriorTan Leather InteriorWood Dash, Steerting Wheel & Automatic Shift LeverCustom Embroidered Logo Floor MatsThis car runs & drives very well. It's been my spare car for the past couple of years and has gotten little-to-no use over the past couple of months. There are a couple of items required for inspection (see below) and a few more if you want to make the car "perfect". All-in-all, a very solid car to the best of my knowledge. Please, feel free to ask any questions. The car is also listed locally, so it's on a strictly first-come-first-served basis. Selling as-is and all sales are final. Needed for Inspection: rear brake pads (new pads included & ready to be installed)pair of rear tires (tread low on existing pair)oxygen sensor ?? (has been throwing check engine light w/ code P1141 off & on) Optional Repairs: security alarm module battery (have removed module & have new battery but decided not to attempt the swap myself - you can have this done by an expert for about $60)ac compressor (have brand new compressor in box & will include - current compressor motor is siezed - I swapped for the shorter (European version) serpentine belt in the meantime which takes the AC compressor out of the loop)sid display (some pixels are out - have a spare unit that you can send in as a core for a rebuilt model - runs about $100 if memory serves)inner cv boot (has slash in the boot - joint is still fine to best of my knowledge - whole axle assembly replaced a few years ago)driver's seat belt (works but is retracting slowly)cabin temp sensor (making some whirring noises off and on - may need to be cleaned & lubricated or replaced) One final note: I'd not started this car for over a month and found that the battery was dead when I went to start it the other day. The battery (Bosch) is only about a year old and I think was just not getting charged b/c I was only driving the car 2-3 miles at a time and only once a week at most. I jumped it and drove it for ~45 highway miles yesterday (before listing). Seems to be holding the charge fine today - just wanted to disclose that fact.

This is the Saab you have been looking for! Previously owned by a certified Saab mechanic (Advanced Imported Auto), I purchased the vehicle over 2 years ago from my him. Sparingly driven, I put less than 15,000 miles on it over the past two years. Always garaged, the interior is immaculate and the paint looks great for it's age! Recently had a new clutch put in, oil changed and has brand-new tires! The head and head gasket were replaced right before I purchased the vehicle. The car runs beautifully! Everything works as it should, only a few pixels out on the main display and a small blemish on the hood, easy fix. Hate to see it go, but just purchased a new car today and can't justify owning 2 cars. Can provide all service records for work done above.
