Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 150,040 I got job promotion where I travel 80% of time and the car has been sitting under a tree for over a year. "The SIS is a rare collectible with less than 3000 manufactured, 288 exported to US dealers in 1988, and this is one of the 3 exports with an automatic transmission. The original leather seats show normal signs of wear with no rips or tears (8 out of 10). This car is an exceptional example of a limited production, high performance convertible that has had a very good life." I am the third owner I bought it from a lady in Charleston SC in 2008. Been covered during my time and driven daily until a year ago. Looks crudy right now but has always been a great drive. And wil cleanup very nicely (see pics of it clean) Interior/exterior needs to be cleaned. 2.0 turbocharged engine. Buffalo grey interior, with saab stereo system. This needs to be loved again by a Saab Enthusiast! It’s an easy fix for Saab person. THE SKINNY: The car has never been hit, original paint work, straight, clean (no snow, no salt). Typical small dashboard cracks and top has issues around the glass. No gouges on rims. Car is straight, clean, original, with no add-ons. Has the desirable non-automatic seat belt system. The car simply needs to be washed and tuned (see photo of the care clean last autumn). Leather is very good, slightly dry but no cracks, stains or tears. On a scale of 1 to 10, car would be rated as an 8. No disappointments. A/C is cold. Does not leak oil. Original radio antenna needs some work. You may be able to find a better Saab, but not an original SIS. You'll look for a very long time. Located in Atlanta, GA. Additional photos available. Runs nice and cool in the summer, good heat in the fall when it is cool out. UNGOOD: Top needs replacing. I bought a parts car to replace the top (1991 Green). Clear coat fading on the passenger side of the hood. Drivers window motor has a short which I was attempting to fix when I parked it. See picture with the door panel off and the center console removed to trace the wiring (It was not the switch or the motor.) The green car is included in the sale. BAD: The battery is dead, therefore I could not start it. It was running fine when I parked it. I’m sure there is information I’m forgetting both good and bad so I’ll be happy to answer any questions or send photos of any particular area. I always got compliments and thumbs up every time I drove it. I would love to see my SIS Convertible on the road again. I simply do not have the time, ambition nor space for it since my new job. Lastly I do not want to see it rot and go to waste. Very collectible!

Many of you in the US and all over the world may know this car in person or from the internet. For the 17 years I have owned this car and driven it people always asked me if I would ever sell it and my answer in many different forms was " NO ". Sometimes I said "Nope", "Never ", or "For the right price anything is possible" The truth and the matter of fact is that after all these years of owning, enjoying and modifying what was and is still my dream car, I still don't want to sell this car. But like I said to Matt Farah on an interview about my SAAB's " I would never want to sell my saab's but sometimes if you want to drive another car you gonna have to let another car go". That being said and after so many years of love and joy, I am putting it out there for anyone that might be interested in giving this one of a kind incredible ride the home it truly deserve. So once again do I want to sell my SPG ?. NO. Will I let it go for an offer that steals it from my hands ? possibly. Hope this statement clear the water for anyone that is wondering why I am posting the car for sale when I truly don't want to sell it Now here are the things you really care about. 1988 900 SPG (AERO) ( Modified for Track and street use) Proudly Owned, Loved and Driven since March 1998 Swedish Dynamics Red Series Stage 5 APC _ Automatic Performance Control unit Swedish Dynamics Red series T3/T4 Garrett Turbo Custom aluminum front mount Intercooler.
