Up for sale is this beautiful 1996 Saab 900 SE convertible. 5-speed manual transmission, 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder engine. Only 124k miles. Runs and drives very well. Just checked over by a Saab specialist and it needs nothing. Excellent condition inside and out. Good tires. No check engine lights or any other warning lights or pending codes. No leaks from the engine, and the convertible top does not leak. Interior is dry- no odd smells. Battery is new. I would trust driving this car anywhere. Fun to drive and very economical. Buy now before Spring fever drives the price up! Selling as is, where is. No warranty expressed, implied, or otherwise offered. It is a 26 year old car, so a warranty cannot be obtained or given. No refunds or returns for any reason whatsoever. Buyer must submit a $250.00 non-refundable Paypal deposit within 24 hours of the listing ending. Final payment must be made within 3 days via certified funds, i.e.certified bank check or cashiers check. Paypal will NOT be accepted for balance. 1987 SAAB 900 TURBO CONVERTIBLE - 122,814 MILES, SECOND OWNER - BLACK STAYFAST TOP REPLACED SIX YEARS AGO, STILL LIKE BRAND NEW. "Negatives" - 1st gear slippage, rear windows do not go down, no a/c, no cruise control, passenger seat cushion split(just needs restitching), rust on passenger side by wheel well(see pics), wipers only one speed, minor oil drip from head gasket above clutch. "Serviced items past year" - new battery, ignition wire set and spark plugs, stoplight switch, vac. hose to fuel pressure regulator, injectors cleaned, brake pads all four wheels have 4,000 miles. Engine strong. Odometer replaced at 87,780 miles with used instrument cluster. Car cover and hard boot convertible cover included. All in all, still a very classic automobile! I bought this car about two years ago on E-Bay and it has been great. Only selling because I upgraded. Fun to drive convertible with a good, strong engine. The car is 20 years old and is NOT a show car. Wear and tear are normal for a car this age with this mileage. Mileage is VERY LOW for a 20 year old car. Please feel free to ask questions. I am not a mechanic and I don't know much about fixing/working on cars, but I will do my best to answer any questions.

This auction is for a Manual Transmission 1997 900 Saab Convertible in good working order, it runs well and is fun to drive (handles well and has good pick up) it has comfortable seats and is quite clean, car belongs to a non-smoker, it gets good gas millage and does well in bad weather. The car has new tires, new battery, new alternator, new crankshaft position sensor as well as several other new parts, the car has been cared for. The power windows and heated seats still work, but it has no air conditioning . The convertible top still works but is starting to have problems, it doesn't always work properly, it also needs some new sealant around the edge as it leaks when it rains heavily (only leaks around the edges ... the roof has no holes). The gas gauge doesn't always work properly but does let you know when it is low ( a light comes on) and the heater switch is broken, although you can still get heat in the car, it just can be adjusted. The power locks work but the passenger door has stuck in the locked position before so I don't usually lock it. Outside of those problems I don't know of any other mechanical problems on the car. It is a nice looking car especially for the age with very few cosmetic problems, it has minor rust mainly on the back drivers side wheel well (please see picture) and spots around the front windshield frame (see picture) as well as a crack in the windshield (approximately 12") ... and a small dent in the back bumper (see picture). Overall this is a nice little sports car, looks good and drives well. Please email me with any questions. Pick up in the Wheaton IL area only, car will not have a valid license plate on it when sold.

It has an Automatic transmission, Power Brakes, Leather / Heated seats, CD / AM / FM / MP3, Power Convertible Soft top and Air Conditioning (R-134a) (though it has not been charged in sometime). Engine is in good condition, does not smoke, nice and quiet. Gear box feels perfect, shifts without any problems, without delay, and without noise. Suspension is in excellent shape, car tracks nice and straight. There is NO evidence of any electrical problems. The exterior is in excellent shape for a 1994. The paint looks original with absolutely no rust anywhere on the car. Leather seats, carpet floor and glass are all in great shape. Soft top is in great shape and works with a press of a button. Interior of this car is very nice and clean. Just had oil change and transmission fluid service. Registered thru 9/2016
