"Negatives" - 1st gear slippage, rear windows do not go down, no a/c, no cruise control, passenger seat cushion split(just needs restitching), rust on passenger side by wheel well(see pics), wipers only one speed, minor oil drip from head gasket above clutch. Hi, FOR SALE OR TRADE is my 1993 Saab 900S CONVERTIBLE NON-TURBO 2.1L, 4cyl, with 133,430 miles on it. CAR IS NOT RUNNING! Car was running fine about three months ago, but one day it stopped working and now it won't start. I have been wanting to fix it, but unfortunately don't have the time. Mechanic said crankshaft position sensor has to be replaced. Added to this, last time I put key inside ignition, I was unable to turn key to crank it and don't know what could be the problem there, but engine and transmission are excellent... Cosmetically, car is in excellent condition as the pictures show. Only minor marks on paint but no dents or deep scratches... Inside some small rips on front seats and portions of cloth on driver door panel need to be stitched/glued back in place and carpet is dirty, but rear seats are in good condition. It comes with power windows and doors, leather seats, paint still glossy and the top is in good condition, no rips. Asking price is $1, 699.00 or Best Reasonable Offer. Will consider trade for running car or let me know what you have... But please, only local buyers with cash/trade on hand and no low ballers... I know the value and potential of this car. This auction is for a Manual Transmission 1997 900 Saab Convertible in good working order, it runs well and is fun to drive (handles well and has good pick up) it has comfortable seats and is quite clean, car belongs to a non-smoker, it gets good gas millage and does well in bad weather. The car has new tires, new battery, new alternator, new crankshaft position sensor as well as several other new parts, the car has been cared for. The power windows and heated seats still work, but it has no air conditioning . The convertible top still works but is starting to have problems, it doesn't always work properly, it also needs some new sealant around the edge as it leaks when it rains heavily (only leaks around the edges ... the roof has no holes). The gas gauge doesn't always work properly but does let you know when it is low ( a light comes on) and the heater switch is broken, although you can still get heat in the car, it just can be adjusted. The power locks work but the passenger door has stuck in the locked position before so I don't usually lock it. Outside of those problems I don't know of any other mechanical problems on the car. It is a nice looking car especially for the age with very few cosmetic problems, it has minor rust mainly on the back drivers side wheel well (please see picture) and spots around the front windshield frame (see picture) as well as a crack in the windshield (approximately 12") ... and a small dent in the back bumper (see picture). Overall this is a nice little sports car, looks good and drives well. Please email me with any questions. Pick up in the Wheaton IL area only, car will not have a valid license plate on it when sold.

Here's a serious Classic Saab collectors car. Yes, only 40k original miles on this Classic Saab 900 with original paint in super shape. This is a base car, not an S model. It is a non turbo 5spd with recent Michelin tires. The car is completely stock with exception of the stereo. I do have the original am/fm cassette with code. Everything works! Cold a/c converted to R34, smooth shifting 5spd manual, clock and power antenna work too. Beautiful, nearly flawless interior. Just converted headlamps to New H4's. The vehicle was purchased new in 1993 from the Saab dealer in Davenport, Iowa. I am the sole owner. I had to pay over the sticker price because Saab only built 325 50th Anniversary Collector Edition cars. The vehicle has a gold plaque which reads "89 of 325". The vehicle has all of its original equipment - no alterations or additions. There has never been a lien on the title.The vehicle can be restored to pristine condition. It is from a smoke free environment.

1994 SAAB 900 Turbo 179,500 Original Miles. Engine : 4 Cyl, 2.0L. Exterior : White. Interior : Tan. Vin : YS3AL76L9R7000551. Engine was rebuilt approx 20,000 miles ago. It has an Automatic transmission, Power Brakes, Leather / Heated seats, CD / AM / FM / MP3, Power Convertible Soft top and Air Conditioning (R-134a) (though it has not been charged in sometime). Engine is in good condition, does not smoke, nice and quiet. Gear box feels perfect, shifts without any problems, without delay, and without noise. Suspension is in excellent shape, car tracks nice and straight. There is NO evidence of any electrical problems. The exterior is in excellent shape for a 1994. The paint looks original with absolutely no rust anywhere on the car. Leather seats, carpet floor and glass are all in great shape. Soft top is in great shape and works with a press of a button. Interior of this car is very nice and clean. Just had oil change and transmission fluid service. Registered thru 9/2016
