The Silver Spur is 4" longer than the standard Silver Spirit saloon, and were considerably more expensive than its brother when new, providing considerable extra rear leg room for rear seat passengers. The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine. Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. It has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. The car sports a nice set of tires on original Rolls-Royce wheels complete with original center caps. The body of the car is straight and the paint lustrous. It does have a few minor little chips and marks but there are few. Otherwise it is very shiny without any fading, dents or dings. Rubbers, moldings, badges and external fittings are all in excellent condition. The interior on this car is quite lovely. The Connolly leather shows exquisitely and is entirely original. It presents beautifully without any signs of significant wear. The wood on the dash and doors are close to perfect. My 1991 Rolls Royce – Silver Spur This is my personal car and I have loved driving it every minute of the two years that I have owned it. My family and I used it only on special occasions as we have several other cars that we drive every day. My wife wanted a new Mercedes and I had to bow to that pressure, so I must sell the Rolls. This is a beautiful meticulously maintaining car that has been serviced regularly. Virtually everything works great and there are no leaks, so don’t worry about its dependability or any oil on your driveway, as I had the engine completely resealed as soon as I got it. I had to have everything on on the car working well even though it's an older car but I try to be a perfectionist. I had new tires put on the car, changed all the fluids, had the brakes checked and serviced, had the power brake pump seals changed, had the power seats and mirrors serviced, suspension rubbers changed, and had a complete service. The previous owner had a new alternator, new battery, had new power steering, new brakes, wheel alignment, and regular service and maintenance for many years prior. As you can see the paint is virtually perfect there are no scratches or dings. I think that black is the only color for a Rolls and the grey interior is unique enough that it is really makes it a very special car particularly because of the uncommon beautiful wood panels on the doors. I guess that’s why everyone wants a black Rolls. Notice … The dual video screens on the back of the front seat headrests Notice … The condition of the interior, which shows the care the car has been givenNotice … The special aluminum wheels, the keys for the locked hubs are pictured in the trunk This is the most iconic car on any road and the respect that you get from other drivers is unmatched. It delivers a combination of safety, luxury, performance, status, and cost of operation that I was surprised was very reasonable, but I just wish I had asked the previous owner about oil leaks. You can see from the pictures I took from the underside of the car that It has virtually no rust, and the history of the car shows no accidents. It’s loaded with a beautifully functioning automatic transmission with a 6.75 liter Rolls-Royce V8 engine with a very efficient fuel injection system which provides ultra-smooth idle and driving and the car has a fantastic air conditioning system that is ice cold all the time, even in the severe Florida heat. The radio is a Pioneer with a CD player and a matching Equalizer. I got the car with the Video Screens in the back of the headrests, but I never bothered having them connected as I had no use for them. I’ve been told without confirmation that all you need is a DVD player installed so that the rear passengers can see videos.. Purchased this pristine Rolls Royce last year (Jan 2014) from the original owners, an elderly couple in Palm Beach Florida, who kept it garaged with their other fine autos. Operates flawlessly. Maintained by Executive Motor Works in Boca Raton. Love this beautiful car, but all my garage bays are full, and I'm buying another vehicle, so need to make space. Please do your research and look nationwide, you won't find another classic RR anywhere in comparable condition, reliability, and low mileage.
