The Silver Spur is 4" longer than the standard Silver Spirit saloon, and were considerably more expensive than its brother when new, providing considerable extra rear leg room for rear seat passengers. The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine with the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system which provides ultra smooth idle and touring. Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. It has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. The car sports a nice set of tires on original Rolls-Royce wheels complete with original center caps. The body of the car is straight and the paint lustrous. It does have a few minor little chips and marks but there are few. Otherwise it is very shiny without any fading, major dents or dings. Rubbers, moldings, badges and external fittings are all in excellent condition. The interior on this car is quite lovely. The Blue Connolly leather shows exquisitely and is entirely original. It presents beautifully without any signs of significant wear. The wood on the dash and doors are close to perfect. Carpets, seats, dash, headlining and fixtures are truly excellent and we would encourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how nicely the interior presents. Overall a great car! All power windows work, A/C blows cold and the car runs and shifts as she should. There are two issues with the car. (1) The rear shocks has a bounce to them when hitting a bump. The rear shocks where replaced at a cost of $1700 at 32,000 miles. (2) Front power seats and mirrors are not functioning also causing an airbag light. All due to a faulty seat/mirror ecu under the seat. The ecu could be repaired or a replacement one installed. Its a common issue and a eBay member offers a rebuild service.
