For sale is this 1980 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Inspection sticker expired 9/2014, but was used regularly until then. Car runs well, engine performs smoothly. Suspension fine. Does not burn excessive oil. Possible repair of rear brakes needed. Mechanically sound, all the fascia controls work. Tires have some meat. Can be driven as is, however cosmetically it is in fair condition. No leaks in or around engine. Certainly not worth a full resto, but an experienced leather restorer could make the seats somewhat presentable. The exterior paint is fair. Most of it can be buffed, but there are cracks and rubbing in many spots. The lacquer on the door wood has crackles. Fascia wood very decent. Someone with some skill can do the repair. Trunk clean. Body has little or no rust. One wheel cover does show rust, the rest are still bright. Glass is clear. Windows roll up and down, but with a slight delay, but servos appear to be fine. Has been regularly serviced for 20 years at a Rolls, Bentley, and other prestige marques repair shop in Belleville NJ, where it is stored.
