I’m a Porsche racecar technician, and I meticulously went through the entire car to get it track ready. Unfortunately, my business now requires a 986 Boxster for developmental purposes, so I’m having to let the Cayman go. This car has been tracked, and as such has been inspected and maintained way more frequently (following every event, and more) than your standard street driven car. It has also been properly upgraded and modified, with focus placed primarily on reliability, handling, and enhanced power delivery. For the street, the car is currently sitting on OEM 987.2 Cayman shocks/springs, but the sale includes JIC Cross coilovers. Exterior is in very good condition, but there is a clear coat crack on the LF bumper due to a parking lot bump, and there’s a miniscule stone chip on the LR quarter panel fender. The wheels were just refinished and repainted, along with the lug bolts and rotor hats, so those are in brand new condition. The interior is immaculate – all black, with OEM red seats (heated) and OEM red shift boot.
