I bought this 911 a couple of years ago and have been going through it since this March. Paperwork on the car shows ownership in South Carolina for much of its life. It was upgraded with a 2.7 engine and a 901 transmission. Factory metal flares were added. When the 1974 Carrera spec 2.7 was rebuilt it had Weber 40IDA's and oil cooler installed and runs very strong. Engine rebuild was done at 44700 mi. odometer now shows 60700 mi. It was also given an upgraded suspension. The 901 5 speed transmission shifts fine with no unusual noises. The underside is very solid and has new stainless heat exchangers.
