THANK YOU 1975 Porsche 911S Coupe (52,000 mile survivor) -- $54,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve collected and sold nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 300 classic cars and trucks. I own the entire inventory and know each vehicle well. I don’t offer consignments but will occasionally list a vehicle for a family member or friend. I currently sell 90% of my classic cars and trucks privately on various websites and 10% of my classic cars and trucks at the Barrett Jackson auto auctions. I’ve had many vehicles sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles at multiple Barrett Jackson auctions. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’ve also featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I also have had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. However, currently I’m not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I opened the new facility located in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 2012. MS CLASSIC CARS is closed to the public but available by appointment Monday-Friday. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale between the current inventory and coming soon page. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. I’ll consider all trades. The power of networking is amazing! MarketI've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. I’m just a 39 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. The bottom line is I went all in. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” Marc Schiliro – The Owner Description1975 Porsche 911S Coupe (52,000 mile survivor) ATTENTION PORSCHE COLLECTORS AND ENTHUSIASTS! THIS IS ONE OF BEST VINTAGE PORSCHE SURVIVORS ON THE MARKET FOR SALE! ***PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING AT. THIS CAR IS 40 YEARS OLD AND HASN’T BEEN RESTORED. THIS IS HOW IT LEFT THE FACTORY. COMPARE THIS INTERIOR, ENGINE COMPARTMENT, TRUNK COMPARTMENT AND UNDERCARRIAGE TO OTHERS ADVERTISED FOR SALE*** YOU’RE ABOUT TO WITNESS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A VERY ORIGINAL VINTAGE PORSCHE WITH ONLY 51,974 ORIGINAL MILES! 1 OF ONLY 2,310 USA BUILT 1975 PORSCHE 911S COUPES! FULLY DOCUMENTED WITH PORSCHE CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY! THREE OWNER CAR WITH GREAT OWNERSHIP HISTORY! FULLY MATCHING NUMBERS CAR! THIS CAR HAS BEEN STORED PROPERLY AND TREATED LIKE A BABY ITS ENTIRE LIFE! LOOKS, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT! GREAT OPPORTUNITY! ***MS CLASSIC CARS HAS A SERVICE PROCESS FOR ALL THE VEHICLES WE COLLECT AND LIST FOR SALE. THIS CAR IS SO ORIGINAL AND EVERYTHING IS IN SUCH GOOD WORKING ORDER WE DIDN’T WANT TO SERVICE THINGS THAT THE NEW OWNER HAD WISHED WE DIDN’T. EVERYTHING IS IN GREAT WORKING ORDER AND THE IDEA IS TO LET THE NEW OWNER DO WHAT SERVICE WORK THEY WANTED.*** THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED BY DR. JAMES H. HERNDON FROM GRAND RAPIDS, MI AT PRESTIGE PORSCHE ON MARCH 29TH, 1975. THIS IS DOCUMENTED IN THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL. THE OWNERS MANUAL ALSO HAS THE DEALER STAMPED SERVICE INTERVALS FROM 1975 TO 1977. THE STORY: THE CAR WAS SOLD TO THE SECOND OWNER IN THE MID 90’S THAT LIVED IN RHODE ISLAND. THE CAR WAS THEN PURCHASED BY THE GENTLEMAN I PURCHASED IT FROM IN 2003 WITH 45,000 MILES. HE PURCHASED THE CAR AS A TOY AND ALWAYS KEPT IT GARAGED. THE CAR WAS NEVER DRIVEN IN THE RAIN. HE OWNED THE CAR FOR 12 YEARS. DURING THIS TIME FRAME HE ONLY DROVE THE CAR ROUGHLY 7000 MILES TOTALING ROUGHLY 600 MILES PER YEAR. WHEN HE PURCHASED THE CAR IT WAS 100% ORIGINAL AND IN EXCELLENT OVERALL CONDITION. A FEW YEARS AFTER OWNERSHIP HE DECIDED TO HAVE IT PAINTED THE ORIGINAL COLOR SINCE THE BODY HAD A FEW TINY BLEMISHES AND THE PAINT WAS STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE. DURING THE TIME OF OWNERSHIP HE STARTED IT EVERY MONTH OR SO AND TOOK IT FOR DRIVES AROUND TOWN TO KEEP IT UP TO PAR. HE CHANGED THE OIL AND FILTER AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR AND REPLACED ONLY A FEW PARTS. SOME OF THE PARTS INCLUDED A GAS LINE, IGNITION CYLINDER, FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS AND TIRES. OVER THE LAST YEAR I’VE COLLECTED AND SOLD SOME VINTAGE PORSCHES AND BECOMING MORE AND MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH THEM. I JUST JOINED THE PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA. SOME OF THE THINGS I’VE LEARNED IS THAT MOST OF THE VINTAGE PORSCHES ADVERTISED ON THE MARKET FOR SALE ARE IN NEED OF SERIOUS WORK. THE BODY’S ARE FULL OF RUST, THE PAINT QUALITY IS POOR, MANY FEATURES DON’T WORK AND MECHANICALLY THERE A MESS. THE DAY I PULLED UP TO SEE THIS CAR THE GENTLEMAN HAD IT RUNNING IN HIS DRIVEWAY. I WAS IMMEDIATELY IMPRESSED WITH HOW GOOD IT WAS RUNNING. I SAT INSIDE THE CABIN AND STARTED CHECKING EVERYTHING. I WAS BLOWN AWAY THAT EVERYTHING I CHECKED WAS IN WORKING ORDER. THE GENTLEMAN LOOKED AT ME AND SAID, “WHY WOULDN’T IT ALL WORK”? HE THEN SAID, “WAIT UNTIL I TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE”. WE THEN DROVE THE CAR FOR ALL AROUND TOWN AND IT PERFORMED BEAUTIFULLY. THE MORE TIME I SPENT WITH THE CAR THE BETTER IT GOT. I DECIDED TO PURCHASE IT ON THE SPOT. SINCE MY PURCHASE I’VE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT THE CAR AND HAVE REALIZED THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL CAR FOR SO MANY DIFFERENT REASONS. THE FRONT HOOD PUMPS ARE WEAK AND DON’T HOLD THE HOOD UP. THIS CAR WAS BORN SILVER METALLIC CODE #80. THE CAR WAS PAINTED THE CORRECT COLOR BY THE THIRD OWNER ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND LOOKS VERY PRESENTABLE. THIS WAS JUST AN AVERAGE PAINT JOB. THE HEADLINER, SUNVISORS, DASH, GAUGES, KNOBS, STEERING WHEEL, SHIFTER, DOOR PANELS, CARPET, SEAT BELTS, ETC IS ALL ORIGINAL. THESE CARS WEREN’T MASSED PRODUCED AND THE SUPPLY IS LIMITED. ALSO, PORSCHE DIDN’T USE GALVENIZED STEEL SO MANY CARS RUSTED AWAY OVER THE YEARS. THESE ARE GREAT AND ICONIC CLASSIC CARS THAT WILL ALWAYS BE DESIRBALE. I WOULD CHALLENGE ANYONE TO FIND A COMPARABLE CAR TO THIS ONE. GET IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!” MARC SCHILIRO – THE OWNER. Inspection ReportUnfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 300 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that all the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear I’m not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchase all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. I’m currently selling 80% of my vehicles within 30 days of listing them for sale. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Please read my testimonials and eBay positive feedback. Thank you for the opportunity! You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!1986 Porsche 944 Turbo w/ 43k miles -- $29,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’m a regular consignor at the Mecum auctions as well. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. Description1986 Porsche 944 Turbo This is one of the cleanest 944 Turbo’s on the market for sale! Only 43,000 original miles! Documented one owner California car! Clean Car Fax report! Beautiful color combination of Alpine White and Tan! Loaded with options! Unique 16” BBS wheels that were dealer installed when new! Alarm with keyless remote that was also dealer installed when new! Recently serviced! Original keys, tags, owner’s manuals, etc! Fully detailed by MS CLASSIC CARS valued at $500.00! This 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo was purchased new by Michael Williams at DeAnza Porsche/Audi located in Riverside California. It was sold by Frank Hartshorn on 07-12-1986 as the original business card and warranty voucher indicate. Michael actually bought the car on a whim and surprised his wife when he came home. This vehicle was strictly purchased as a second vehicle which was always babied and garaged. It only has 43,000 original miles which is only 1,500 miles per year. It’s hard to believe this car is almost 30 years old! This car spent its entire life in California so it wasn’t susceptible to bad weather. It was also garaged which makes it even better. It doesn’t have any rust as all the photos indicate! The exterior of this car is in overall great condition for an original 29 year old automobile. Like most older vehicles the body does have some imperfections. Some examples would be it has a few small door dings, slight crease in the front bumper and on the passenger front fender. Even my 2013 car has a few imperfections already. This car has never been in an accident as the Car Fax report documents. The Alpine White paint was been completely compounded, buffed and polished to a beautiful shine. This is a beautiful color on a 944 especially with the black accents. It does have a few small chips and a minor scuff on the rear bumper. All the exterior trim such as the rubber seals, spoiler, lights and emblems are in outstanding condition! When Michael purchased the car it had the 16” BBS wheels you see in the photos. The original factory wheels were removed from the dealer and replaced with these as an upgrade to give the car more character which they do. The wheels are in excellent condition. They currently have Yokohama S306 tires that are 205/55/16 on the front and 225/50/16 on the rear. The tires are in great condition! The tan interior compliments the white exterior perfectly. This interior is as good as it gets for a 29 year old car. The original owner told me the interior still smells new and it sure does. I’ve seen many Porsche 944’s advertised for sale and I haven’t seen one with an interior as clean as this one. This car also has a tan interior which shows wear and tear more easily. I’m really lost from words describing this interior and will let the photos do the talking. All I can say is its like sitting in the car when it was a few months old. There are no signs of fading or anything of that nature. Even the seat bolsters are beautiful. MS CLASSIC CARS completely steam cleaned everything. Some interior factory options for this car include a sunroof, sport steering wheel, central locking system, cruise control and leather. Breakdowns of the codes are listed below. When the car was new the dealer installed an alarm system with keyless remote that still works great. It also has a K40 radar detector and I’m not sure if it still works. Everything in the interior works excellent and there are no service lights on. The trunk compartment is also in beautiful condition! The engine compartment in this car is absolutely stunning and home to the 2.5L L4 SOHC 8V Turbo. It’s very obvious that this car wasn’t exposed to bad climates as everything looks great. It retains all the factory stickers and paint spots. All of the rubber is nice and there are no signs of oxidation. The engine starts immediately and runs excellent. How many Porsche 944 Turbo’s have you seen with an engine compartment that looks this good? MS CLASSIC CARS replaced the hood insulation and completely detailed the engine compartment! The undercarriage of this car is also absolutely stunning. Once again it’s very obvious that that this car wasn’t exposed to bad climates. I’m wondering if it was ever even driven in the rain. These cars had factory undercoating that has a yellow tint to it and most of it is still there. It also retains all the factory stickers and paint spots. The floors are free of any damage. Some of the factory options for this car include a catalytic converter and front and rear sport shocks. How many Porsche 944 Turbo’s have you seen with an undercarriage that looks this nice? Actually, how many sellers even post undercarriage photos? Make sure to ask them if you’re looking at one. I’ll promise you 99% of them don’t look like this. MS CLASSIC CARS completely detailed this undercarriage! Included with the sale of the car are the original owner’s manuals with original salesperson business card, alarm manuals, radio manual and face holder, original Porsche sound quality tape, keys with original dealer tags, recent service work receipt and Car Fax report! Most of them have been American made but I’m starting to diversify into the European made vehicles as well. I have really become interested in classic Porsches especially since they’ve been red hot. Although I’ve collected a 1969 Porsche 911T and a 1971 Porsche 911T this 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo is the first classic Porsche I’ve listed for sale. From all the research I’ve done over the last few months it appears that most of the classic Porsches advertised for sale aren’t show quality. There also not marketed very well including such items as detailed descriptions or quality photos like the undercarriage. I take a lot of pride in personally purchasing every vehicle myself and getting to know each one. I write all the descriptions and take all the photos to do the best I can to present a vehicle properly. This 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo is a very special car for many reasons. I purchased this car from the original owner which is a very big bonus for a car that’s almost 30 years old. The new owner will officially be the second owner since I’m a dealer. I have the original title to this car! This car spent its entire life in sunny California and was always treated like a baby. It was always garaged and was a second car that was driven roughly 1,500 miles per year. It’s never been in an accident as the Car fax report indicates. It was always serviced by Porsche mechanics and was recently serviced less than a few hundred miles ago. The car is absolutely beautiful with its striking Alpine White exterior and tan interior. The dealer installed BBS wheels really give it character. The car starts and runs excellent. Everything works as it should. The car has been completely detailed from top to bottom by MS CLASSIC CARS which is valued at $500.00. If you’re looking for a classic Porsche that will make a good investment this is one you should really consider. It’s in a very reasonable price range which makes it very attractive. I would challenge anyone to find a comparable car for less. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – the owner ***I NORMALLY TAKE THE PHOTOS OF ALL MY VEHICLES OUTSIDE BUT UNFORTUNATELY I CAN’T BASED ON THE TERRIBLE WINTER WEATHER WERE EXPERIENCING IN NEW ENGLAND. THESE PHOTOS DO THE CAR NO JUSTICE!*** Inspection Report"Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what's being advertised for sale. We’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 250 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that ALL the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear were not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchases all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answers all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited myr website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I'lll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Thank you for the opportunity!
