2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S This car has been wonderful to us over the past year. I purchased it from Porsche of Melbourne in December 2014 as a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned Car. My family has used it on more or less a daily basis for the past year but as things change with life it is time for this vehicle to find its new home. There is still 1 year left on the Porsche Certified Pre-Owned Warranty (CPO End Date - 12/21/2016). The Porsche 911 is the sports car that you want to drive every day. It does it all very well. It is comfortable, it is quick, it is what a modern day performance sports car should be. My wife and 2 daughters (5 and 8) enjoy using it just as much as I do and in fact we took a 900 mile family of 4 road trip in the car over this past summer and it worked flawlessly. It is amazing what this car is capable of in an every day use environment. The PDK transmission gives you the best of all worlds from the basic comfort of an every day automatic shifting jaunt to the store to the driver controlled Sport Plus mode for spirited driving there is a nice array of configurations to fit your needs for that moment. This particular car was what was called a Launch Model. Porsche spec'ed out a certain number of vehicles the same way in a popular format to release right at the beginning of the 2009 model year cars. This car originally was equipped with Sport Seats but somewhere along the line before I took ownership of the car those were replaced with the Comfort Seats. And in all honesty the Comfort Seats very much fit my needs for what I wanted out of the car better than the Sport Seats would of. My wife enjoys using the car just as much as I do and she is of the same opinion of having the every day usability of the Comfort Seats made that change a solid choice. 2009 brought the new 3.8L DFI engines and they are just as good as everyone says they are. Smooth power and efficiency. Those attributes along with the 997's hydraulic steering feel and traditional 911 interior layout makes this particular model year range one that will be sought after for years to come. The PDK transmission was serviced at 60k miles and the engine has fresh Mobil 1 Oil and a New Drive Belt. This car is ready to have the miles put on it. The car is in overall good shape for a 7 year old, 61k mile car. Everything that should work, works and it has what I would consider normal wear and tear. It is a car that is ready to get in and drive. Not some low mileage garage queen but a car that is meant to have the miles put on it with a smile on your face. When I was on the hunt for a car I was after one that was ready to be used. This car is the perfect driver. Nothing to be afraid of and nothing to stop you from going wherever you want, whenever you want in the World's Best Every Day Sports Car. But still the best aspect is that fact that this car still has 1 full year of the Porsche Certified Pre-Owned Warranty.
