I'm offering for auction my 2002 Vintage 550 Spyder....... with a Custom Touring Trailer! You've never seen one like this before! These cars are so small that they don't have room for any cargo. Try taking one of these cars golfing - or up the coast for the weekend with your girlfriend. Instead of leaving this car in the garage with the Harley you never ride, hook up the trailer and away you go. The trailer really adds a little practicality to this vehicle. However, if you just want to cruise, leave the trailer home and let her rip! You can even use the trailer with your Harley and head to Sturgis!This car was built by Greg Leach of Vintage Spyders and is in absolutely beautiful condition.This Spyder has only 5017 miles on a 2275 Type 1 built by Pat Downs of CB Performance. It features dual Weber carbs that offer amazing throttle response. The engine has a rev limiter, Porsche valve covers, an external oil cooler and a two into one Magnaflow custom exhaust system. These engines dyno at around 155HP and provide a great power to weight ratio in a car that weighs only 1300lbs! The transmission was built by Trans West and has stock gearing with a 3.44 R&P to stretch them out and let you cruise comfortably on the highway. Additional options include a Soft Top with side curtains, Tonneau, front grill, leather straps, head rest, front jack points, full cover, wide 5 wheels with drum skins, large disk breaks in the front, push button starter, head light screens, leather seats, Nardi steering wheel, correct 550 front and rear turn signal lights and Porsche script and badges front and rear. The trailer mounts to a small custom 1 1/4" receiver with a 1 7/8" removable hitch/ball that is hidden out of sight.The trailer was custom built and painted to match. It features individual torsion axles, LED lighting, a large waterproof door with a gas strut, full carpeting that matches the Spyder and a cooler rack in the front. Its made of fiberglass and features a powder coated frame that is very light. This thing goes down the road at 75mph with no vibration or noise. You don't even know its there.
