This car was an abandoned project discovered in an estate sale in northern Nevada. It was indoors in a shop sitting for years. With winter approaching this represents a great project opportunity. It's a blank canvas, restore, build an outlaw, a hot rod, a 'Singer' replica, etc. Folks are inquiring about accidents and rust...there is zero and zero. The strength in this offering is that it is a straight, rust and accident free car that was an abandoned project left indoors in a garage/shop building in a dry climate high desert environment. The car has GREAT bones, and excellent condition top compared to 90+% I've ever seen on this vintage. The value in parts alone is there. The chassis, pan, doors, targa top in very good to excellent condition, all glass, hood, trunklid, bumpers...all in excellent condition with no rust or even 'bodywork' required in the future come with the car and anything presently attached, I'm not dismantling the rear suspension for example, so included. ...there is no rust visible in these photos...what looks to be common surface orange rust is glue, left over from soft material removed from floors.

I recently attended an estate sale where I intended to pick up some vintage Porsche parts for a project 912 of mine, and ended up at the conclusion of the day acquiring this project car. I made every attempt to identify parts that either belonged to this car originally or those that looked to be intended for this car as there were multiple cars and lots of parts to sort through and set them aside for the photos. It is what it is...a definite project, No motor, no transmission, and just 2 'mule' wheels on the rear...but what is there is an excellent base for whatever? Outlaw, driver, backdate, buyers call. The body/chassis is in outstanding condition, bone dry, devoid of rust, and near straight perfect. There is very very little body work other than prep, paint and assemble. The parts look in excellent condition, just removed and boxed, see photos. I will work the buyer of this car to make sure any miscellaneous pieces I may still have for this car, go with the car.

A true original, bone stock, concours condition, known history from new, condition 1 car. A car for the most critical Porsche collector, ALL details correct, all original bits and pieces in like new condition unmolested and intact. All numbers matching, motor never out of car. The only non-original items on the car are the engine sound buffer 'pad' that deteriorated into dust has been replaced with correct NOS...and Carrera chain tensioners were installed around 27K miles, otherwise, not tampered with. All California compliant smog equipment is still intact and untouched since new. The car passes with ease every time. These 'survivor' original cars are rare and commanding serious $$. This example is considered 'high mileage' at 59K miles. If the odometer read 5,900 miles you would believe it, it is an extremely excellent condition car in every way. It did benefit from pampered continual use, never sat and rotted. It drives and functions superbly. It has been part of my personal collection of cars that is now mostly sold off. I first acquired this gem more than a decade ago. It has spent most of its years here locally between me and one other owner. The mechanic who has serviced it is also here locally. There really has not been much in the way of repairs, it was put together well at the factory and remains pretty much untouched. It wears 80% of its original paint, in incredible near perfect condition. There are no visible flaws, dings, dents, scratches, blemishes or dirt anywhere, including under lids, jams, etc. It is in highly detailed mode right now.

1988 Porsche 911/930 Turbo Cabriolet. 4 speed manual transmission. Guards Red exterior, leather interior. 139K total miles. 60,000 miles since engine and transmission rebuilt and Turbo replaced. Paint just 'freshened' and vehicle serviced. Just replaced plug wires and all systems checked. This Porsche is in Excellent Condition and is beautiful to look at and to drive. Only imperfections are very minor cracks on the dash and minor wear showing on drivers seat and door panels. Only thing that is not original is the stereo. I replaced the stock stereo a few years ago (because the original quit working) with an AM/FM, CD player with an Apple iPod attachment. Illness forces sale.
