Up for sale is a wonderful vintage Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera in very nice condition. As you look over the pictures you can see that the 911 was well cared for. The paint in nice and shows its age in some areas with small chips and scuffs, but this car has never been restored. All the body lines are near perfect and the panels fit well. The rear Turbo Carrera tail is original with the correct metal under framing. The front lower bumper facial have a dent on the lower right side (see the pictures). But over all the car looks great from any angle, please look at the pictures. The leather interior has been fully restored within the last 12 months. No expense was spared . This is the correct Lobster color as it was built with in 1977. From the headliner to the carpet, dash, seats,and door panels the interior is like NEW. I have the original steering wheel that sells with the car. The radio was upgraded to a current design. From a mechanical point the car is in good shape. The engine was rebuilt on the top end 12 years ago. The cylinder studs were upgraded to the latest 993 studs, all the valves were resurfaced, piston rings replaced, as well as gaskets and seals.The car has less the 10k miles since the engine rebuild The fuel injection WUR was rebuilt 10 years ago.The ignition was upgraded to a MSD system. The engine runs very strong. I have receipts and paper work from the repairs and service that the cars has had done over the years. The brake master cylinder was replaced last fall and the brake fluid was changed. The wheel are REAL RUF 17 inch wheels with nearly new tiresThe A/C system works and blows cold air, the heating system works as well.This 911 turbo has been cared for by a life long Porsche mechanic. The last two owners have used the same person for the service and repairs. This 911 Turbo is a vintage car and is not new, Please look at the pictures closely. The car is rust free but will need a few things. The rubber bellows on the bumpers need replace, The wheels have a few curb scrapes. The engine will spot the garage floor with a small oil drip . The valve cover gaskets need replaced. I have a copy of the C.O.A. as well as the original tool kit and owners manual As the market for the early 911 Turbo Carrera's climbs higher and higher each day. Here we have a 1974 Porsche 911 Targa. This car has been modified to look like a Wide body 911/930 turbo. The rear wheel opening have been flared with (steel flares) the front wheel opening have been flared with (fiberglass) flares. The rocker panels have boxed rocker panels.The front has a Euro fiberglass front bumper.The rear Turbo tail is a factory look alike with a soft rubber lip. The targa top is in nice condition with NO rips. Its soft and look great. The 911 has 16 alloy wheels that are 9x16 in the rear and 8x16 in the front. The tires are TOYO PROXES that are like new. The battery has been relocated to the smugglers box for better weight balance. The interior has nice Sport seats that are fully adjustable. The door panels are RS/911 style with metal release handles. It has a aftermarket C/D player. The dash has no cracks that I could see. The manual windows go up and down with no issues. The car shows sighs of being well taken care of. But it is a vintage sports car and not a new model The 911 drives well with no real issues. It is carbureted so it needs to fully warm up before it runs at its best. The brakes are smooth and stop well. There are no rattles or noises in the driveline. The transmission shifts very good with no issues. The clutch is smooth and releases nicely. The engine does not leak oil, I have seen no spots on the floor even after sitting for 2 weeks. The engine just had a fresh oil service with an OEM oil filter and 20w50 motor oil. This car has a 2.4 liter engine that has been modified with Zenith carbs, a header exhaust. The engine pulls very strong. I have driven several 911's and Im very impressed with the power this car has!!. Looking at the underside of the chassis I can see some repair to the floor pan near the front corners. The repairs where done with metal and welded in correctly and sealed to prevent rust.
