I was purchasing my 356 SC coupe from Tom when his other 356's came into the conversation. Tom told me he had purchased this Red SC Cabriolet from a local doctor on Mercer Island who used it as his sunny day car through the late 1990's. The 20+ year old red paint remains very good with little road wear to show for its seasonal drives. As we all know the sun doesn't shine much of the year in the Seattle area so it was used sparingly. Tom had owned the car for more than ten years and had the interior redone for a summer drive with his wife to Vancouver, BC. Tom lamented about his interior guy having to sleep at the shop for a few nights to get it done on time for the trip. The leather seats and carpets have been hand sewn and fitted with the finest materials: English leather and German square weave carpets. He also added a wooden steering wheel at the time. We purchased the car from Tom in 2011 and instantly sold it to a good client in Whistler, BC where it has remained garaged since. This SC has been used on nice days and gets parked for the long winters up on the mountain. We have been calling our previous clients trying to get a few of our exceptional cars back and were lucky enough to buy this 356 SC. The Cabriolet is tuned up and ready for that daily commute or weekend drive. As I recall, all the engine and transmission numbers match as do the visible panels (haven't checked the doors) and pans are original. This is an excellent 356 SC Cabriolet with its original trim pieces and toolkit accounted for. It is a rare find and will make its new owner very happy indeed. 2007 Porsche Cayman S, Arctic Silver Metallic w/ black interior, 6 speed manual transmission. 74K miles. 19" Carrera S wheel option with black/silver crest center caps, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), power windows, power locks, power steering, power assist / heated seats, factory NAV, CD player, Sport Chrono package, tilt wheel, factory BOSE sound system option, Bi-Xenon headlights, Auto climate control (AC serviced last year by Porsche), Michelin Pilot Sports in good shape. New brake pads and rotors at 63K done by Porsche (have receipts, over $3400!). No cracks/nicks/pitting in windshield. Rear hatch does NOT rattle, a problem the Cayman's have. Aftermarket catback exhaust (have stock that will include). No tears in seats, just a little wear on the lower part of the driver side bolster from getting in and out. Added a switchable AUX / USB port in the glove box so you can listen to your Ipod/music/Pandora/ect. No wear on climate control buttons. No accidents, clean CARFAX (I have a copy) and clear title in hand. Southern car all its life, no rust. Non-smoker. Warranty on engine, transmission and AC good until 113K miles or 2/19/2017. That's right, I am transferring the warranty to the new buyer. There is a $100 deductible. So that means if anything goes wrong with the engine, transmission or AC, you can take it to Porsche or any mechanic and have them fix it and only pay $100. I used this warranty with the AC and there was no issues, very simple and great customer service from the warranty company. This cost me an additional $2700 when purchased, but I wanted piece of mind and I am transferring that to the new owner. This is a drivers car, it is not perfect but it is in good shape for its age and mileage. I purchased it from McDaniels Porsche in SC in 2/2014 but have to sell since we already purchased a larger vehicle for our growing family.
