The car appears to be very original with the original smog pump and fuel injection on the two-liter motor still in tact. We believe we are the third owners of the car. I purchased the car knowing it had hell-hole rust and severe rust in the passenger floor area. It appears the battery tray area and passenger floor will need replacement. The previous owner said the hood rusted from having a pillow left on it - he inner structure appears solid. The photos inside the front and rear trunks show dirt that was painted over not rust. There is also rust as pictured. It appears to be a highly original car and judging by the paperwork I am the third owner. I do not have a COA but it appears to be a numbers matching car based on the condition, smog pump, fuel injection etc... The 2.0 liter motor will run on starting fluid – and the car benefits from a recently rebuilt distributor and rebuilt fuel injection brain. While running, the car shows oil pressure and the air-conditioning compressor turns freely. Original Fuchs alloys appear to be in good condition and odometer shows believed to be original 79 thousand miles. Also included in the sale are items such as: original Porsche bra, original speaker grills, original jack and original spare tire. Car rolls easily, but will need to be trailered. Car is located in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. In person inspections are welcomed. Please note, I am not a dealer, I am a person who loves Porsches and described it to the best of my ability. My son and I found this car almost two years ago and with him in College we have no time to work on it. This car has a clear Louisiana title and you will be required to put the title in your name – no open titles will be allowed. Your bid is a contract and payment must be made before the car will be loaded. $1,000 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours of winning the auction. Winning the auction is an agreement to purchase the car. Any additional photos required will be gladly provided and all questions will be answered. The car will not be sold outside of the auction so please bid to win the reserve is realistic for the car, the options and the condition. No trades considered.

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Porsche 936 Junior 1/2 Scale Children's Collectible Car Celebrating the 1981 Le Mans win of Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell This is believed to be the last new one, still in the crate, in the world and has been featured on numerous Internet Porsche and Car Collector sites... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=R0oiLW01bWAhttp://classiccarsdb.com/porsche/77700-porsche-936-junior-rare-museum-piece.htmlhttp://motrolix.com/2015/04/possibly-the-last-new-porsche-936-junior-12-scale-replica-in-the-world-ebay-find/http://news.yahoo.com/ultra-rare-porsche-kart-could-worth-more-real-143030811.htmlThis car was unearthed in a logistics warehouse where it sat crated for more than a decade. There is also an email chain with the original Polish manufacturer, who created the 936 Juniors for Porsche. When sent the picture of the car in the warehouse they commented, "we had big pleasure building these little cars." The story of the 936 Junior... In 1984 Ferry Porsche was given a ½ scale replica of the 936 that won LeMans in 1981. He enjoyed it so much, even driving it around his birthday party, that he put it on display in the Porsche museum. After that he commissioned somewhere between 50 and 100 cars to be built and sold to Porsche dealers around the world. The exact number is not known. They had part number WAP.170.000 For more detailed history please see the scanned Excellence Magazine article on the Porsche 936 Junior included as the last three pictures. Our Porsche 936 Junior... Stored for many years in a crate in a logistics warehouse, my son discovered it after lengthy Internet searches and countless phone calls. It is also believed to be the last or one of the very last produced - we are waiting for the manufacturer to confirm. The decals are slightly different from the others. I have only seen one other one with a number 1 instead of an 11 and without the driver’s names. When I asked why, I was told because it was the last and they had run out of decals. The previous owner told us that he received a call from Harrod's Department Store in London requesting the car to be displayed in the store which is why it was moved to the logistics warehouse over a decade ago. When Harrod's found out they could not get more to sell and it was the last one available they declined to take it. He has a history of supplying products to Harrod's. The cars were built in Poland for Porsche by a firm that specializes in building small gas powered cars. To our knowledge, and the previous owner’s knowledge, this car has never been removed from its crate and there is no smell of gas from it ever being started. It is like new. The car features the adjustable spoiler and only one small section of the stripe decal lifting. The engine turns easily when pulling the starter rope but I am told there is an electric start. The cars feature high and low beam headlights, working turn signals, a three-speed transmission and a Briggs and Stratton engine with a top speed of 32MPH. I am also told by the gentleman I bought it from that it features disc brakes and spring suspension with shock absorbers. I am a serious Porsche collector who is letting go of pieces of my collection slowly as I’m getting older and looking to thin out my holdings. I am not a dealer or a flipper. We have even had our collection written about in national magazines. When my son and I opened the crate and saw this beautiful car I decided to keep it in its just found condition covered in years of dust that made its way through the crate in the warehouse. This may be the last new Porsche 936 Junior in the world. You are welcome to inspect it in person but I will not let anyone but the buyer sit in it, start it, or remove it from the crate. This is a cherished piece in like new condition and it is up to the new owner to do as they please. It is currently fully insured, yes, even collision – isn’t that funny - and kept in a humidity controlled warehouse next to my other cars. The last time the car was listed it received a high offer of $30,000 we turned it down at the time but decided that now we need the space so it's time for it to find a new home. Please ask any questions or ask for additional pictures, I will be happy to oblige. The car can be viewed in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. Used and abused examples change hands in the mid $20,000 range and we saw one auction that had one at an estimated up to $50,000.
