96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo CLEAN CAR FAX TASTEFUL UPGRADES I am always the first to say that I am not a “Yellow” car fan…. but there is just something about the Color combo and color break up of this speed yellow car that grab’s my eye in the right way. The overall condition is not what would be expected for a car from 2007. The prior owner’s where detailing fanatics so only the best products were used. Plastic components were coated in 22PLE coating. The paint has been coated with C-Quartz glass coating for an unbelievable shine. The clear bra was installed about 2 year ago and covers the entire front nose, entire hood, and parts of the front/rear fenders. The modifications were kept simple and tasteful. A Tubi exhaust was added for a very nice and aggressive exhaust note, then it was tuned by Evolution Motorsport (EVOMS) in Tempe, AZ to the EVT550 level. A short shift kit from EVOMS w/ alcantara covering was added for a better shift feel and positive engagement. To handle the extra power a Sachs 2.5 clutch upgrade was performed (about 1,500 miles on it). The clutch is very "street friendly" but just holds the power better, unlike the twin disc set-ups that release at the very top of the pedal. The suspension was treated to GMG - front & rear sway bars & springs, Tarret rear stop links and a RSS rear bump steer kit (all installed by EVOMS). Complete alignment was done by EVOMS. The car rides extremely well and has an almost GT car feeling with-out the harshness. There is an EB Werks adjustable spoiler mounts so can fix/adjust the rear spoiler height. A Tranzit Bluetooth kit was installed so you can stream music from your phone and of course answer calls. Recent service consists of spark plugs (done 6000 miles ago) serpentine belt was replaced 6000k miles ago along with fuel filter and front diff fluid. This is an amazingly well put together car that in my option does not need anything other than a new home. When driving with the top down there is nothing like hearing a flat six engine winding through the gears. With the addition of the the Fab Speed performance package this makes the symphony of the engine truly come to life! The package from Fabspeed included their sport exhaust with dual filter carbon fiber air intake and ecu upgrade, this package was very matched to the car’s engine and does not affect drivability one bit. The only other non factory item on the car is the suspension lowering springs from Eibach, these spring slightly lower the center of gravity and were made to function with the PSAM. 1962 Porsche 356B 1600 S Cabriolet T6 - Incredibly well-documented example with original motor and transmission. Produced 6-27-1962, this cabriolet was originally outfitted in Champagne Yellow with black leather interior. In 1987 the car was repainted to the current red color. The original motor #702956 is still in the car, and in 1999 was treated to a complete refresh by noted specialist Sports Car Factory of Thompson, Ohio. Mileage at the time was 36,900. It has only been driven in nice weather and has been pampered and never abused. It is in original condition except for a terrific Borla muffler, upgraded radio/speakers, steering wheel and strut brace. Wheels are original but are beautifully polished. Overall the original paint is in unbelievable condition showing almost no flaws. The paint thickness indicates a repaint of the hood and front bumper typical of a cosmetic touch-up. I can’t emphasize enough how stunning the car is in person. The burgundy interior is original and in wonderful condition. The seats are truly exceptional. Even the dash shows only a slight shrinking of the leather which is highly unusual for a leather-covered dash. There is no substitute for low-mileage! I'm selling my very nice 2004 Porsche Boxster. Manual transmission, five speed. Carmen red metallic paint, Carmel leather interior. Power roof, CD player, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, alarm system with motion sensor, Newer formats, Porsche car cover. Everything in good working order. This car needs nothing. I bought this car four years ago and only put 8,000 miles on it, hence the reason I'm selling it. It has never been driven in the winter and only twice in the rain. This car is a real gem and has required very little aside from oil changes. I had a full inpection done at a Porsche dealer before buying it in 2010. The color is a beautiful deep metallic red that changes in direct sunlight.
