This is an exceptionally nice 1997 Boxster inside and out. An expensive clear transparent protective coating has been added over the paint on the front part of both front fenders, front bumper, both exterior mirrors and other places of the body that are prone to rock chipping. The car handles and drives wonderfully. The engine is strong, smooth and quiet with a lot of power. The interior is very nice. The leather seats and dash are in excellent condition. (see pictures) The tires are New and the rims are original in excellent condition. The disc brakes are great and stop wonderfully and the 5-speed shifts real smooth with incredible ease that's assisted by good no slip clutch. It has the optional Sport Package that includes; P63 Sport Package 17" Boxster wheels/tires Wind deflector - (the clear insert is missing) Sound package Cruise Control Alarm systemIn-dash compact disc player - (this has been updated with KENWOOD CD-Receiver with USB Direct Connection made for iPod & Phone). The convertible top is in good condition. The rear window has been repaired it is still clear and easy to see out. The car was always garaged. It's scheduled for a complete alignment this week because new tires were put on. This 1997 Porsche Boxster was the first production year for the Boxster. This car is a fine example of how great the Porsche Boxster can look 20 years after. This is an exceptionally nice car. There are a couple little tiny dents; one is the little on passenger front fender near the head light. There is a tiny one on the passenger wheel well that's hardly noticeable. There are NO ROCK CHIPS on this car because of the protective clear film that was professionally put on this car. There is a small 1" clear coat scuff on the hood but the paint is not damaged. This Porsche has fewer imperfections than many brand new cars sitting on showroom floods an in their inventory.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A little history about the car; it was purchased new in Florida, stayed there for seventeen years and eight months. For sale is my 2001 Seal Grey Porsche Boxster S. It has 55,250 miles, a clean title, I am the third owner, and the car has a clean CarFax not involved in any accidents. It is a 6 speed manual transmission, with the original 3.2L engine. All original equipment including the rare factory Sport Package that included the 996 GT3 front bumper, Aero II side skirts, and Spyder humps. The convertible top is in great condition. Factory Euro HID headlights look brand new, Factory Euro tail lights and turn indicators. Also will come with a factory Porsche car cover, 2 keys, original sticker sheet, and manuals. No leaks (photo of underside of engine bay is attached), Tire/brake life is good. Service with brake flush and oil change were just performed, as well as a safety inspection at the dealer. EDIT: Engine mount replacement performed, car is read to drive. If there are any questions do not hesitate to ask, I have more pictures as well if you would like to see them all.
