1987 Porsche 944 Turbo, Guards Red/Black leather interior, excellent condition daily driver, 5 speed manual, original very good paint (but with expected minor stone chip imperfections), leather interior is in excellent shape - NO tears or rips. Full maintenance records with actual receipts! Never tracked, no accidents, NO dash cracks . Originally a Utah car. Approximately 300 HP, performance equals or exceeds many 911 s. New Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 N3 Porsche approved summer performance tires. (Over $1000 retail.) Extra set of Porsche "phone dial" wheels with Michelin Alpin winter tires. Correctly and safely modified for higher performance than stock - very dependable mods - bigger KKK turbo up to 17 psi, Porsche Turbo Cup DME/KLR chips, K&N air filter, Koni coil-over adjustable racing suspension, corner balanced with limited slip differential. 600 lb front, and 400 lb rear Eibach springs* Weltmeister 28mm front, 22mm rear sway bars* Stainless steel brake lines. Very well maintained with receipts. 28 mpg highway. Always garaged. Very clean interior. Great running 1984 Porsche 944. 2.5L engine. car has no rust because it has not been winter driven at all. The car is all original original!!! the only thing that has ever been done is the clutch disc has been replaced. Not because it was worn out but because Porsche had a design flaw. there is a rubber piece in the clutch disc that tears. it was a common problem that all of them had. it has been upgraded to the new design. Along with that a rear main seal and pilot bearing was also replace just for precaution because its right there. this service usually runs about $2000. $240 for the disc and 18 hours in labor. Air conditioning still works. Has power windows, power sunroof both work. original Fuch rims which sell on ebay for $1500 alone. couple minor issues. lock on driver side door doesn't work with the key anymore just needs to be freed up, tires defiantly need replacing no matter what. so if planning to drive home long distance bring wheels with good tires or have me put some on before hand. has some door dings from being daily driven to school and also front lower bumper has been banged into parking curb a few times. interior dash is cracked up like all of them. This is one of the earliest editions, and is presented as a survivor. This is car #1053 with an April 1982 build date. Please note that there was over a one year wait-list when this car was introduced. Besides winning awards for design and performance, the 944 was credited for saving the Porsche brand! This particular car is presented as a survivor; as such, it does require restoration. Mechanically and structurally the car is quite sound. It starts on demand and idles quite smooth. Timing belt service is up to date and within mileage interval. I believe the 71,000 miles showing on the odometer to be accurate. The option codes for this car would have been very rare in 1983. Options include the 456 sport suspension with Koni struts (still installed) and upgraded sway bar. I bought this car for my son 2 years ago. he will be selling this as well as his 1999 BMW to pay for college. I personally manage the maintenance and upgrades to his cars. Up for auction is my 1985 Porsche 944. Very clean all original low mileage car. I tried to explain the car in the pics, so look close. The car is in factory original condition except for an after market stereo. Extremely good condition for a 30 year old car. I can't see were there was any body work done to the car whatsoever, completely original body and paint. Being 30 years old has brought along some dings and scrapes as can be expected. I touched up some of the larger chips with a dabber applicator (see pic). One long dent in front between the head lights (pointed out in pic). I missed the pic of another dent in one rocker but its so low you need to stand on your head to see it. I took no pics under the car. The low hanging parts have touched down but are solid. The steering rack has one small leak at left end shaft seal. I added fluid once last year. Now for the good stuff. FUN TO DRIVE!!! New brakes New battery 90% tires Goodyear Eagle GT FUN TO DRIVE!! Performance chip in computer (installed mainly to help idle issues associated with this model but really pepped her up too) New used wiper motor New washer pump New rad cap Bumper to bumper inspection. Everything works as it should unless noted above. Did I mention FUN TO DRIVE!!! Here is a link to NADA page for this car. Purchased the car in February 2014; car had no visible damage. Had new timing belt, distributor cap and rotor, plug wires, plugs. Power top works fine. Good tires. Cold A/C.
