Very fun car. 1986 Porsche. Have owned it for about a year and a half. Previous owner hit a small pole on the drivers side front fender. I replaced the fender, hood, A arm, and strut. Car runs and drives amazing. I have gone through every major system. All new fluids throughout. All new plugs and wires. I got the car running and up to operational excellence and then put some Lindsey Racing "go fast" goodies on it. Has LR 951 max chip, Autometer boost gauge, 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator, and LR boost enhancer/controller. Car is not without its imperfections, but that is reflected in the price. I would say this is more of a weekend cruiser/racer or track day driver than I would say it is a daily driver. If you wanted to daily drive it, it will need some small things addressed, like the power window switches, needs a radio, cracked windshield, AC needs recharged but heat works. TONS of replaced parts. I upgraded the rear shocks to 968 shocks. It has the rare 951 phone dials that are 16x7 in the front and 16x8 in the back. Car is priced to sell. Just check out the Hagerty values on these mean machines. #1's are bringing close to $20K these days.

This fine gentleman took great care of this Turbo 944 as shown in the condition of the interior. I drove the car on occasion until it entered the shop late August for the customization. In addition to the Widebody a few major maintenance items were taken care of to make this car worry free for the next owner. First, a new water pump. Then a new timing set and belts. A new battery and serpentine belt complete the under hood work. New rear brake pads and fresh rotors were installed out back. The dash is showing a few cracks from the defrost vents and the seats show some age. The drivers buttress is the worst area. No rips, tears, or holes. Floormats like new. The A/C will need a charge in the spring. The paint is fresh, of course. Hatch lock and door handle seals have been replaced along with a new Porsche hood crest. The instrument cluster has been replaced with one having a working odometer. Mileage reads around 72K. The actual mileage was said to be at 120k by the previous owner. You will receive over 90 pages of documented service history with this beauty including the ORIGINAL PURCHASE ORDER! Because those of us that play with custom cars always change the wheels to suit our flavor, the twists pictured are not included in the sale. 1985.5 Porsche 944 I have owned this vehicle since February of 2011. It has 92,053 mile on it. This car spent all but the last 5 years in Boca Raton Florida. Since I have owned it I have had or done the following repairs or maintenance Front end engine maintenance, new belts, tensioners, etc. New water pump New alternator Rear hatch re-sealed New Alpine White paint job New door seals New rear hatch seals New hood seats New sun roof seals New ignition switch Power steering pump re-build Oil cooler re-built Front disc brake rotors turned and new brake pads The clutch master cylinder was replaced just before I bought it. I have receipts for all work done or parts except for the paint job. There are no cracks in the dash. It is a replacement before I bought it. The seats are replacement and in very good shape. There is a repair in the drivers seat that is hardly noticeable. Now for what's not working. I had the air conditioning line(s) repaired but it quit cooling last summer. I am a heating and cooling tech and pulled a good vacuum on the system. It held. I put about a pound and a quarter of R134 in and it cooled for a little while. The lines are good, the pump needs new seals. I never had the time to repair it. The windshield washer pump doesn't work. The rear window de-froster tab is off the glass. It can be replaced. There is no back luggage area cover. This automobile is always garaged and covered. This is a strong running Porsche that does not leak or use oil. The tires are good and the suspension is strong. I hate putting it up for sale but I've put less than 5,000 miles on it since I bought it. Never driven in rain or snow since I have owned it.
